She's a victim of her irresponsible parents. She should actually thank SA people for the wake up call. She had no future because she was illegal. Many like her end up selling in the streets

She’s not a victim of xenophobia. She’s a victim of Nigeria’s failed state and having irresponsible parents. This girl is literally saying she’s illegal in SA so what should happen?

These stories are more of a validation of the cause than a repudiation. How can you profile someone coming into someone else's country illegally and hoping to take advantage of bursaries created for citizens from money taxed from citizens? You should have some shame. This is shameful.

You’ll be fine. Not only is Nigeria the giant of Africa, it’s also a much better place than South Africa aaaaaaand its your home.

If you’re gonna push the “South Africa is a xenophobic country” propaganda at least get your facts correct. 1. How did she write her matric exams without a South African ID, legal visa or study permit? 2. There is plenty of bursaries that fund international students in South Africa

She’s a victim of irresponsible parents and Nigerian failed state. Her parents brought here in South Africa not South African system not government and SA citizens but her parents. You guys need to stop making your problems ours.

@Dzungie007 Nigerian are wired differently in an abnormal way they think this is normal and permitted for her to be here illegally so to them they see nothing wrong, something is wrong with Nigeria sympathy can not run and protest a-country and it’s people.

Illegal foreigners in SA watching this should be worried and extremely concerned about the future of their children. Just because you were born here it doesn’t mean you’re automatically a citizen. It’s time to go back to your countries and fix them for your children.

She is a kid, really cannot blame her but her parents. The laws of the country are not new, her parents knew the laws but they thought they can pay or fraud their way out. They had time to do right

She’s lucky she got education, her fellow Nigerian brothers are abducting South African girls as young as 10 year old, force feeding them drugs and prostituting them!!! Nigerians have done the absolute worst evil to South Africans.

SA is not her home. Her parents should be blamed for not introducing her to her original home. It's not too late for her because she's going home now, thanks to her government.

You cannot write matric in South Africa without ID. So her mateic is invalid. She is proudly saying that she has been in the country without ID since 9 years which means her parents came here illegally

Why was she studying here in South Africa when there are schools in Nigeria? I want y’all to understand that living or studying in SA will not make you one of us. Stop expecting benefits of native South Africans when you are from that shithole of a country called Nigeria.

You and your parents have been leaching off South African public resources for decades without contributing any taxes. You don't belong in South Africa you are thieves taking what doesn't belong to you for so long now you feel you are owed it. Please leave.

It's shameful that her home country can't give her study opportunity. Any South African returning home from a country where she lived since she was nine years old, will find excellent study facilities for herself here in South Africa. Fix your bloody country man

Go back to Nigeria sisi, you can always study in South Africa if you apply through the legal framework. There are also foundations in South African that has sponsored thousands of West African students. You are not South African, first get that into your head.

"I came to the South African Embassy in Japan and experienced xenophobia." You are Zimbabwean. Living in Japan. Using a South African driver's license. And you went to the South African Embassy ..; not the Zimbabwean Embassy ..; to get help. And when they couldn't help you, you called it xenophobia? You are a Zimbabwean national ..; not South African. You obtained a South African driver's license ..; while you were in South Africa. You are now in Japan ..; and you went to the South African Embassy for assistance. The embassy told you they couldn't verify your license ..; because they don't provide consular services for foreign nationals. Sis, that's not xenophobia. That's the law. The South African Embassy is there to serve South African citizens ..; not Zimbabweans, not Nigerians, not anyone else. You didn't go to the Zimbabwean Embassy. You didn't use Zimbabwean documents. You didn't follow the proper process. You expected South Africa to help you ..;even though you are not South African. And when they didn't, you cried xenophobia. This is the entitlement we are talking about. You used South Africa to study. You used South Africa to get a license. You used South Africa as a bridge to Japan. And now you want South Africa to help you in Japan too? Why didn't you use your Zimbabwean documents? Why didn't you go to the Zimbabwean Embassy? Why didn't you follow the proper process? Because you know the Zimbabwean system doesn't work. You know South Africa is the only country that will help you. And when they didn't, you blamed them. South Africa is not your personal stepping stone. It is not your bridge to the world. It is a country with laws – and those laws apply to everyone, including you. Go to the Zimbabwean Embassy. Use your Zimbabwean documents. Follow the proper process.
