[sigh] 🎱 honestly, the two things that made me the most nervous recently were: first, being a dj for the first time at the seventeen party, and second, this driver's license test. 🎱 why would i be upset? i'm not at all, i didn't work hard. i went in with an arrogant mindset, so how could i pass? life really teaches you that you still need to prepare. if you don't prepare, even when an opportunity is right in front of you, you still won’t get through. such a small thing, but such a big life lesson. 🎱 i kept saying i didn't want to take the exam. i said i really didn't want to. but the staff told me, "just go, you're already back, and we've already registered you." so i went. i thought it was subject two, normally it's two, right? or was it one? i don't even know, because i can switch my license anyway. what a pity. 💬 saving face? 🎱 what face is there to save? 🎱 no, no, it was the written test, subject one. i just needed to pass the written exam. driving itself? of course i can drive. i have to be able to drive. i'm basically half a veteran driver, right? 7 years isn't a joke. so i studied. i had to do about 500 to 1,000 practice questions. oh my god, it really brought me back to my childhood days of studying. as i kept doing the questions, i got sleepy. i did questions on the plane and fell asleep. the day before the test, i also fell asleep halfway through. every time i do practice questions, i start yawning.

I've been pretty busy lately, I can't share what for yet, but I had a little bit of time to help provide some changes to Tokengo Kda recently. From a technical standpoint, I am satisfied with where we are. My only goal was to build something that anyone could use. Keep following the wall of text to see what's coming next for the site. This also gets asked, but there is no funding source other than tokens created and donations, which are much appreciated. Advanztek | Building Your Ideas took over the platform after my initial concept for a myriad of reasons. I still help support but plan to get others involved more for regular issues as I want to spend my time working on things like a new back end, enabling real-time stats that can be published on the site and X. This will enable the things I couldn't see myself directly supporting(not that I didn't want to). Trading leaderboards, trending tokens, and real-time stats popping up on the site like large buys are all coming as a result. FunnyOMG99 has been a private source of support, and I thank you for that. Kabir has been helping behind the scenes with styling/format and is updating as well. Advanztek is building the new leaderboard UI, and I've offered for him to take over the game bots I cannot operate myself for Telegram(these are f*ing cool and finally get to see the light of day). Where the site goes from here will be interesting. I've debated if the IDE should be separate, and soon it will end up with a version in my sandbox to really make it a robust tool. Easier ways to get token trading immediately, locking LP, burning LP, and some other features should be added/unhidden very soon. Some quality-of-life improvements for token names should be made soon as well. Following Tokengo Kda is good, as that handle will start to provide more updates, but I know many people follow me directly for this information. Day 1: Late comer. I have always been late. And sadly, not fashionably so. I didn’t grow breasts nor start my period till I was in my first year at the university. In fact, emptying my bag first day in year one- Wande Olumekun (now Awojobi) my friend helping me arrange my locker, asked me if I forgot to buy some. The pads I mean, not the breast. 😁 I didn’t forget, I just didn’t need them. But I needed the breasts and they blossomed 2nd semester, 😁 now, my boobs are way past Double Ds. Way past! My mum used to always tell stories of how as a baby, I didn’t walk on time, or talk on time. I also didn’t start reading on time until I discovered that you can time travel & get lost in books. Pure Magic! There a lot of things that I didn’t get to on time. A lot! The most obvious (not certain by whose calendar though), is that I didn’t get married on time, although in retrospect, I firmly believe no one should get married before 33. (Another story, another time.) I was 40 give or take some months 😊 when I got married, but I married someone that is really into me, ridiculously so, that I still get heart giggles thinking about it. 🥰 and it makes up for all the “lateness.” So, first of all, introduction, I am a 40+ recently married perpetual late comer woman, who still can’t drive a car or swim. Building a business from scratch. (Again!) this time in a new country. And now that we have established where I am, these stories will make a lot more sense to you. You see I decided to tell my “why stories” in a series called “Lived forwards, understood backwards” as proof that every decision, every lesson, every action we take has a ripple effect, that impacts on our lives somehow in the future. When I was 17, I asked my mum to teach me how to drive, she said I should wait for my husband, her own husband taught her how to drive. So I waited. Been waiting Dike 🌚 When I was 8, my cousin Aidelomo referred to someone as “that Idiot that can’t play chess” & although I quickly correct myself, my 40+ year old brain still defines idiots as people that can’t play chess. (I am so sorry non-chess players 🙈). When I was 4/5, my Dad said “if a fly is buzzing in your ear, it’s asking you to marry it, shout No.” 40+ year old me still shouts “NO!! I will not marry you!!!” in a crowd. Sigh. 😞 It’s majorly embarrassing. But it’s reflex. Who wants to marry a fly???? Not me! Now you see, right? How, given my age & my family, these stories are plenty. It’s Day 1, the stories are going to come. When they come. If they come. No patterns. Just randomness. That’s me. Random. And my stories. July 4th, 2030. In just four years, almost every part of America will be reachable by an autonomous car. People don't believe me when I say that, but it's already happened for me. In fact, I've probably driven through your community by my robot. Which gets me to a new point. I've been all over this country with my robot, and there are some places that are stunningly beautiful: Wyoming, Montana, Alaska, California, and Utah. Even the East Coast has stunning natural beauty in places like Maine and New Hampshire. It's different than Yosemite National Park, of course, but they have their own national park up there that is really nice. Someday you're going to pay a cheap price for a thrill ride ticket. Yesterday, I did basically San Jose to San Diego in one drive along the coast. This is a way better drive than going to Disneyland and riding the Matterhorn. Disneyland costs something like $150 or more per person; for a family of three or four people, that gets expensive. It’s cheaper to take an autonomous car and buy a box of strawberries. Also coming in 2030, you're probably going to be wearing a pair of glasses. I know you hate the idea; I have to wear glasses and I hate the idea too. But I've seen the prototypes in the labs and they are so stunning that someday a company is going to bring a product to market that makes us all go, "Oh." I still believe that company is Apple. There’s a reason for that: they own exclusive rights to Formula One. A lot of people watch Formula One (I watch it myself, though I'm not rich enough to go many times). Someday you're going to have a 3D track on your kitchen counter and you'll be watching the race in a whole new, mind-blowing way. You're going to show it to all your guests at your Fourth of July party and they’re all going to want one. By 2030, the question isn't whether I have a robot in my house. I already have a couple of robots, like the Matic robot that cleans our floors, and I’ll probably have another one by the end of this year. I'm talking about a humanoid. The real question is: how many humanoids will be in my house at my Fourth of July party in 2030? I could see saving up a little bit to rent a whole bunch of them. Why not? It’s America. Someday soon, you're going to have robots lighting off the fireworks in certain communities. When I lived in Seattle, we had mortars on our front driveway. It's a little dangerous for a human to get close to, so you send the robot. That’s what I learned in Las Vegas when I met the bomb disposal unit; they let me drive a robot around and blow up a bomb. As an American, that highly entertained me because blowing up bombs is just the best. That’s why we all like fireworks, except for my autistic son who can’t stand them. He has shown me a different way, so we go to drone shows now. Regardless, soon you’re going to have humanoid robots lighting the fireworks. I already have a couple of robots, like the Matic robot that cleans our floors, and I’ll probably have another one by the end of this year. I'm talking about a humanoid. The real question is: how many humanoids will be in my house at my Fourth of July party in 2030? I could see saving up a little bit to rent a whole bunch of them. Why not? It’s America. Someday soon, you're going to have robots lighting off the fireworks in certain communities. When I lived in Seattle, we had mortars on our front driveway. It's a little dangerous for a human to get close to, so you send the robot. That’s what I learned in Las Vegas when I met the bomb disposal unit; they let me drive a robot around and blow up a bomb. As an American, that highly entertained me because blowing up bombs is just the best. That’s why we all like fireworks, except for my autistic son who can’t stand them. He has shown me a different way, so we go to drone shows now. Regardless, soon you’re going to have humanoid robots lighting the fireworks. So, here's my take on the recent discovery in the ongoing Monster Hunter: Wilds PC performance fiasco. I needed to wait a bit before posting as more sources were able to confirm the initial posts. The main reason I wanted to make this post is because I've seen a lot of clowns recently saying that because the DLC checks only affected hub/camp performance that it "doesn't matter." Their inability to consider how these issues may be affecting other hunters is frankly quite loathsome. I've been one of the fortunate ones who had the "season pass" at launch, so the issues never struck me thankfully. But think of all those that didn't... It DOES matter. Being quite attuned to the qualms of this community myself, I've had hundreds of people stop by this past year asking: "how can I fix the game crashing when I enter the hub?" Many of my community and I were dumbfounded as to why this issues was persisting with a seemingly fresh flow of new players experiencing hub crashes. Even those who weren't crashing were getting sub 30 fps dips, sometimes in the single digits that made menu navigation and hunting prep a real challenge. It annoys me immensely as all of this could have been avoided simply by NOT implementing aggressive anti-piracy measures. It's funny to think that the ACTUAL pirates will have a smoother running gameplay experience than the legitimate customers because they don't have to deal with all the anti-tamper. Now I LOVE Monster Hunter: Wilds, but my love for it doesn't mean I'm delusional, and thus blindly support it regardless of it's faults. We in the community have a duty to OUR viewers, supporters & fans to inform them and call out the shitty monetization practices in the industry. We also have (I believe) a role to play in preventing events like this from occurring in the future by vocalizing our discontent with said issues. Now I have no doubt that Capcom will fix this problem. I have no doubt in my minds that the devs, designers, artists and creators involved in the making of Wilds played no part in this egregious F'up. But someone knew. Somebody in a suit made the decision to completely ruin Monster Hunter: Wilds on PC for potentially thousands of loyal customers. This aggressive approach to anti piracy needs to stop. Capcom, you're actively killing your games for many of your most loyal fans and I don't even think you realise it. As a Capcom creator, I implore you to take a look at what you're doing, and stop. And then finally this week, I was able to talk to a doctor at an insurance company, and I explained to him again why she wants a mastectomy. She wants a deep flap reconstruction. I can only do that once in her life, and if she's gonna have the other mastectomy, now's the time to do it. And, he considered, and he actually overturned the decision and said that we could do the mastectomy. So it's been a year, and now the insurance company decided to let us do the thing that we'd been asking for a year to do. And then today, they called to say that they didn't agree with my timing, that they want me to wait 2 more months before I do her DFLOP because their standard is that microsurgeon. I'm the one who chooses when to operate, and they're telling me when to operate. I've done this for a long time, and I'm really successful at doing this. And I can do it 4 months after the end of radiation, but they want me to wait for 6 months.
