I’ve been reading through Codex Sinaiticus as part of my regular devotions. I started Proverbs recently and pulled up my phone to share a verse from Sinaiticus that I came to this morning. “Trust in God with all your heart; and be not exalted in your own wisdom.”

Sometimes, it’s good to recenter yourself. When the evil of the world is heavy on your mind and heart, give it to Him. Leave it all there. Recently I discovered that there is a group of people on a certain platform who are reading through my testimony from when I was a struggling teen. I wrote it years ago, and they are mocking it as they go—making fun of my words, judging me for my past, mocking my past decisions, my decision to choose life for my first born, my path toward God, and the pain and suffering I shared with my readers in order to reach those who may not know God but are searching. Only evil people do this. And I count it as an honor and a blessing to be mocked for His name’s sake. I pray their hearts will be softened. My heart was changed. Theirs can be too. Maybe one person will enter their livestream and listen and, instead of focusing on their evil intentions, will actually listen to what I wrote and want to know more. God works in mysterious ways. All I do know is that they will have to answer to God one day. And I do not envy them for that. My joy comes from God, and it is my honor to be persecuted in a world where it is really easy to despair. They are not accomplishing what they think they are accomplishing. And I am moving forward in what God has instructed me to do. Love you all! (Song from our Sunday service. We had to prerecord it on Thursday due to the weather)

This is my facsimile copy of Codex Sinaiticus, the first few major codices like the original this is a photocopy of, are our very first versions of what we today would consider a Genesis to Revelation copy of the Bible. Codex Sinaiticus took upwards of nearly 400 sheep to make and would have cost the equivalent of hundreds of thousands of dollars in today’s currency. By the 4th century when this was made, the perspective would have been that this contained the scripture more than that it was scripture. All of these major early codices operated as mini ancient libraries. And all of our earliest examples of them: whether that’s Codex Sinaiticus, Alexandrinus, Vaticanus, Washingtonianus, etc., have Christian books included within the contents of their covers that we today don’t consider scripture. So it is completely incorrect to claim that early church inclusion in a codex equates to scriptural reception. That’s just not true unless you’re willing to argue books like 4th Maccabees, The Shephered of Hermas, Epistle of Barnabas, and 1st Clement and 2nd Clement, that no church today accepts as scripture, should be included within your Bible. Likewise, the church recognizing books does not mean that their ability to do so gives them the authority. To say that the church gave us our Bible is like saying that the postal service gave you your mail. Your letter carrier is not the progenitor of the mail you receive. Those were written prior to, and even despite, your mail man or woman eventually getting them in your mailbox. The church is the servant and subsidiary of scripture, not the origin. Loop engineering is great until something breaks. Here is how I improve the reliability of my agentic loops. I use human-in-the-loop (HITL). It's easy and extremely effective. Anyone can build this. My setup: I recorded a quick demo of how it all works. I shared recently that I now use more voice agents to build and communicate with agents. I also use them to verify. I hate the idea of being tied down to my computer or in a Slack channel to communicate with my agents. Here is what I have done to streamline communication with my agents. All my Claude and Codex agent sessions now use the Dial MCP server. It has a bunch of tools and provisions my agents with their own number that can place calls as native tools, with voice, SMS, and iMessage behind one interface. As my loops/automations work on PRs and new features, my agents escalate decisions to me via a short phone call. This is extremely useful when I am on the road or away from my desk. Sometimes as a man or an athlete, you struggle and you are in your own head. Your own thoughts get so loud that you can hear nothing else. This is when l ask God to see me throughbecause as imperfect as I am I try to remember I was also made in His image. I kneel down to Him in gratitude for saving me.
