Girl I’m crying seeing this. My son is that child. My father, brother and sister were those children. Think of All of these children who lost their sense of self worth. I pray everyday that we can build something for the children in the near future.

When I was in third grade in the early 1990s, my school labeled me retarded, largely because I refused to socialize with the other children. My mother was furious and demanded they administer a proper IQ and academic equivalency test before permanently branding me with that diagnosis. The results showed I was already performing at a high school level. The staff concluded the problem was that I was bored out of my mind, not intellectually disabled. Overnight the label flipped to “high aptitude” and “boy genius.” Rather than adjust the curriculum to challenge me, the administration proposed skipping me directly to high school. My mother pointed out that yanking a third-grader into a building full of teenagers would destroy my social and emotional development, so she refused. In retaliation, because the district claimed it had no resources to educate a child like me properly, they dumped me into special education classes with severely mentally handicapped students. Within one school year I had gone from retarded to genius and right back to retarded again. 😂 SMH.

Dude is not wrong but certainly not 100% correct - not if he has cognitive dissonance regarding the FACT that all vaccines cause brain damage. My brother was autistic in the 70s after ONE vaccine and it was immediate. He was talking, happy, loving - one shot later and he never made eye contact again, lost all words, spent his life in hell! As his sister - I grew up KNOWING what caused it. He's correct that the school system plays a massive role in this, but to think it's the cause is ridiculous! I'll debate anyone on this subject! I lived it! I too was diagnosed w both ADHD and autism at 24 years old. Rejected the diagnosis until in my 50s when it became undeniable that I was weird because of vaccines! I've studied these two 'disorders' more than any doctor you can put in my presence. This guy need to understand that it is multi-faceted.

The saddest thing is when you realize the system failed you, and you still want to be free, excplore create…but your surrounding by people who think “you changed…their worried”, they can’t see that their hamsters on a never ending wheel…and they shame you for jumping off, following your heart.

Then they tell you to stand 6’ apart, wear a mask, let your loved ones die alone. It’s a very powerful system most people can’t understand.

My sons ARE THESE BOYS, now men. I fought the system. I cried for them, watching them fight against conforming. Struggling in a system that boxed them in. The meetings, the bullshit IEP.. my son is TAG, so intuitive they didn’t know how to control him. 🥹

This is true, but it’s even more true for boys because they aren’t meant to be subservient like girls are. The education system suited girls while simultaneously making boys seem like they are a problem. The system needs to collapse before a new one can be built in its place.

@leslie_hileslie Truth! I would just add that “parenting” is the number one influence in a kid’s life. The push for both parents working…daycare…and demoralizing those who choose being a “Mom” as a “career” choice have all lead to our kids being turned over to “others”…shirking responsibility.

one of the reason I believe this perception won't change is because it would tackle to many sacred treasures of the establishment it would require reassessing teaching methods, standardized testing, IQ metrics worst of all it would require fostering critical thinking

I dropped out of school in 8th grade. It served me well because now I'm not a zombie like most of the other people who completed the k-12 indoctrination camps. + 2 to 8 years of college and another 20 to 40 years of going to a shytty job every day.

What a nonsens. Of course this is how children learn. Without discipline you can not have a school. Discipline shapes children. Helps them organise.

PARENTS OF YOUNG CHILDREN MUST LISTEN!!!! After 8 years in the rabbit hole and thousands of videos viewed, this is now in my top 3 MOST PROFOUND videos I have ever watched. I’m shaking right now…. Because this was ME! I hated school. Consistently made low grades. Barely graduated high school. I went to WORK during 11th and 12th grade for half a day, 5 days a week just to escape the cage this man describes. I thank GOD everyday my parents did not label me, take me to the doctor, and start drugging me. Im 62 years old now, so thank goodness things were different back then. Today I’m a successful entrepreneur with my business of 33 years. I have invented things. I can fix almost anything. Im a damn good carpenter, plumber, electrician, mechanic, etc. I thank everyone involved back in the day, for not labeling me and drugging my true spirit from becoming the man I am today. O M G

One of my greatest sins is that back in my past, I actually thought SIDS was more nefarious on the parents side. To all parents of children they lost due to "science", I truly am sorry for the loss of your child & the pain your family indured. Please forgive our ignorance.

@l_u_n_a13 A little rambling, some unfortunate Men's Rights adjacent rhetoric (like the public school system only punishes boys); Sharing cuz its funny to see more people waking up to the problem, but forget about ~20 years 1960-80 when ~Boomers tried (+/-) reforming schooling.

And people wonder why the federal gov't gives extra funding to the schools based on how many students require Adhd meds. This is why the teachers will convince parents their kid needs to be drugged. Because they have "adhd" 🤫

We removed our kids from their original school very early. They have been in a school founded on the whole child. They have movement breaks, learn the way they learn and so many other amazing things! They have turned out amazing!

1) While I don’t disagree generally I don’t think there can be any doubt that the rise and what they call ADHD can be directly correlated to the rise of screen time over the decades.
