I've been testing Nested Instances in Solaris & KarmaXPU: 1,500 animated tree instances, 45K instanced leaves per tree, 20K instanced plants. Added a VDB skybox for mist/fog to push Karma bit harder. ~2 mins/frame on RTX 4090.

Did you know that in Blender you can instance entire collections of objects? ✨ 1. Select your objects 2. Press M to put them in a new collection 3. Press Shift+A and find your collection at the bottom of the menu. Changes made to the original collection will be reflected in all of the instanced ones! 4. Select your instanced collections and press M to put them in another collection. You can compose your instanced collections into hierarchies of any complexity! #b3d
