This is the best and easiest way to do mocap in Unreal Engine 5 as a solo-dev or team! Rokoko 's suit is really easy-to-setup and makes animations look triple-A with little to no retouches, I have been using it for 6 months and I love it.

I was just informed this Seedance 2.0 short film was selected to be streamed on Roku, Xumo, and other platforms in early August. It now has 55K views on YouTube with 3k likes almost 1k comments. See I tried making this short with Unreal Engine 5 MetaHumans. Studio wanted $10K just to rent the space and mocap suits. I paid an animator $900 for a test animation. It looked like crap. Last month, I used Seedance 2.0 and finished the short in 4 days. It now has 55K views on YouTube. If you still think AI filmmaking is about laziness… You’re not paying attention.

Wasteland Muse is a Realtime UE 5.7 character and self improvement challenge by 3D Sculptor @lisa_she_. With this project, Lisa focused on pushing their skills in texturing, anatomy and Unreal Engine implementation. "I've learned a lot during this project. It was actually my first experience working in Unreal Engine, so I faced many technical challenges along the way. Fortunately, I managed to solve almost all of them through research, experimentation, and iteration. This is crazy! With LTX 2 in ComfyUI i was able to keep my original camera movement + it did a full lip-sync on the singing haha. All running locally. I made the original video back in 2021 when Metahumans first came out and we were working in Unreal Engine 4. This music video was some kind of result from my first experiments with Livelink and Control Rig at that time. Now the new AI improved version is not perfect and i didn’t train any lora for character consistency yet. I also didn’t have the original video file anymore so I downloaded the Youtube version as input haha. However the camera result + facial expressions are really promising! I wonder how it would handle more complex and fast shots though.
