Let’s talk NPCs! I had a pretty clear idea from the start for how I wanted NPCs to move and behave. The system is built around paths with “connectors”, and every time an NPC reaches one, it decides where to go next based on a few factors. Those factors are things like “Are there already NPCs down this path? I have I come this way before, etc”. The idea was to simulate a certain level of “randomness” to the NPC movement so players can’t easily predict what an NPC will do (like in irl lmao). Once they have crossed enough connectors they then head towards a spawn point and leave the map. Every 30 seconds or so the system calculates how many NPCs are walking around and decides weather or not to put another one in, always aiming to keep things within a certain range. This post is a bit more in-depth than my previous ones, but I felt like showing off a bit more of how things work “under the hood”. Think it’s overengineered? Any suggestions?

I finally implemented an inventory system where purchased parts can be stored disassembled without having to buy them again. This means you can have different turbo kits in the garage and choose the one that best suits the race for potential downgrades at no extra cost. It's a simple idea, but it's caused me a lot of headaches because I've had to make significant modifications to the system I had set up before. #SuperWodenGP3, Work in progress.

To give you a perspective on how advanced the NPC interaction system in GTA VI is going to be, here's a direct comparison between GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 In GTA V, the only option is to greet or insult NPCs depending on the character that you're playing as, in this case here Trevor will insult them. I haven’t had the chance to attend one of these events myself, but I would definitely love to talk about how WilliamEst carry themselves in them. First of all, they are both people who truly love their fans and are genuinely excited to see how they grow together with them over time. Simply seeing more people than they expected is something that must make them incredibly happy. One way they show this love is by taking the time to greet every single fan. Many might say, “it’s something simple,” but it really isn’t. It requires coordination and security, both for them and for their fans. And the fact that they still choose to do it—even if it means extending the event—speaks volumes about how deeply they care. For WilliamEst, it’s important that all their fans get to see them. Because let’s be honest: being physically close to them doesn’t always mean you actually get to see them clearly or interact with them. It’s like having them right there, yet somehow still far away. I know both of them are aware of this, and that’s why they try to find ways to share at least a few seconds with each fan. Est talks with the organizers to plan a walk around the venue that allows them to greet all the fans, while William shares his idea of the route with LYKN so that every fan has the chance to see them or say hello. And you know what the best part is? It’s never just a rushed greeting. They take their time—to greet, to interact, to look into the cameras of almost every fan, even doing the poses the fans ask for. That’s what makes the interaction feel even more genuine. WilliamEst are the kind of people who don’t just stand on a stage above their fans—they step down, close the distance, and remind everyone that they see them, appreciate them, and are grateful for every single person who came to support them.

Sam Altman on his method for clear thinking: "I'm a huge notetaker. I go through one of these notebooks every two or three weeks." Sam has a very specific system for thinking clearly through writing. As he puts it: "You definitely want a spiral notebook because one thing that's important is you can rip pages out frequently. HALF A DECADE WITH AE5PA ♡☾☆ꕤ #FiveYearsWithaespa #에스파_오래오래_사랑할게 five years with aespa…it’s been five years we have been together and joined as one. from the day the reveal pictures started coming out one by one to the current day, there hasn’t been a time i regret my decision to fully support and walk beside these four girls. being a fan of aespa has guided me and will continue to lead me through my adult years and i couldn’t choose a better musical artist for me to be so dedicated towards. these four girls inspire me, they give me strength, they allow me to feel a sense of happiness in my life that i don’t get from many other outlets. being a fan of aespa brings me so much joy everyday that anytime i’m sad or not feeling the best i can always turn to them to put me in a better mood. their music and personalities has not only helped me through so much that i couldn’t even begin to explain how it all has affected me in the best way possible. we’ve shared so many smiles and tears together and i just want to continue this journey together for as long as we can. even in another lifetime i will always choose to walk this path with my princesses. growing up alongside aespa is something i would choose over and over again and be a decision that i will never take for granted. thank you for coming into my life and being with me for the last five years and i hope we get to spend so many more years together.
