I've been trying out Seedance 2.0 to make 3D animations instead of 2D animations and the results are very insane. It's superb to make gender-swaps/transformations, but struggles to understand actual body swaps. Still, super impressive. Here's an example: #tsf

I've tried the new Google Omni, which is their new AI video model. It actually generates the videos very fast, and it's pretty decent at making gender swap/tf videos (here is one I made). I'm still trying to figure out how to make actual body swap videos with it too 🤔

It's still really insane to me that this is fanmade. The quality of the animation is literally on par with the actual Clone Wars show and that's super impressive. Also the color schemes of the Clones are amazing :)

was working on a small thingy of my own but i really don't think i'd make anything of it, especially anytime soon. it's like an open world game, played in both 2d and 3d, where you can switch from 2d people to 3d people and help each other out

This one is a little bit simpler but still cool. I wanted to make my backdrop feel like an actual world my character inhabits. This is tough in 2d because you don't have the freedom of a 3d world so I had to get creative.

This years been pretty nice. Been trying to do more stuff out of my comfort zone and I'm pretty happy with the results. Glad you guys seemed to like it as well. Mostly proud of animations! Was working on a lil doodle to celebrate, but that's for tomorrow. Happy new years!

insane hitboxes I've noticed that when Carlotta ducks during some of her animations, she can avoid particular enemy attacks that go above her head The example shown below is something I've been able to pull off pretty consistently, so it's not just a lucky one-time coincidence

How should curve change its width/color in animations? Drawings/Manga use heavily stylized lines a lot, while most anime avoid this to reduce the work. I've been thinking for years, but still confused... I could match/track the curves, but how to make it visually appealing?

When we start adding characters, it becomes very difficult to achieve the exact animation, gesture, or movement we are looking of all of them in a single generation. In addition, the more characters are added, the more rigid Seedance 2.0 animations become in order to maintain consistency. This is especially visible in styles with squash and stretch and rubber hose animations, where the characters deform their body parts as if they were made of rubber, or in highly expressive movement animations in anime. For these cases, it is better to work on each animation separately and recompose it at the end into a video. Workflow + Prompts 👇

A few people have asked how I make these animations. The answer is it's just code and a screen recording. I’ll make little jigs like this interactive timeline to dial things in, but for me I find this is still the fastest way to create and refine exactly what I want.
