Opus 4.5 is insane. Just shipped v2 of my compounding engineering plugin—watch the video for my full thoughts on the model. Compounding engineering plugin v2: This wouldn't have worked a week ago. Previous models would derail after the second parallel thread. Opus 4.5 held the context, made the right decisions, and shipped clean pull requests to both repos. OPUS 4.6 WAS NERFED DUE TO DEMAND BUT OPUS 4.5 DOES NOT SEEM TO BE HIT this guy ran the same test on both models. Opus 4.6 fails consistently but Opus 4.5 passes every time he switched back to Opus 4.5 on Claude Code and said "what a difference, feels like i got Opus back finally" he is now using this test as a "quantization canary" that runs it at the start of every session before doing real work. if it fails, the model is degraded. five Opus 4.6 windows in a row failed the untransparent nerfing is pushing people to cancel their Max plans if you've been feeling like Opus got dumber lately, you're not imagining it i'd suggest switching to Opus 4.5 to see the difference for yourself

I built a form-filling agent that anyone can use 💫 This is an extremely simple but useful (I hope) app. Upload a fillable form 📋, some context files, and chat with the agent to fill the form out automatically ✍️ 1️⃣ Yes it is a Claude Code SDK wrapper 2️⃣ It is better and faster than ChatGPT/Claude UI out of the box 3️⃣ We use LlamaParse to parse the context files, so you can have more trust that we are able to read context without hallucinations (e.g. messy scanned handwriting, drivers license photo, and more). While building SEV0, I ran into moments where natural language prompting just wasn't enough - too vague, too indirect. So I started using a method that bridges that gap. I call it Bridged Prompting - a technique where you temporarily step out of the prompt-response loop to manipulate something directly using an AI-generated UI, then step back in. Think of it like GenUI, but more user-driven and transient. AI generates a UI on-the-fly, tailored to your prompt, and lets you manipulate the artifact directly before resuming the conversation. Sure, you could build a full tool, switch tabs, wire it up and round-trip your data. But with Bridged Prompting, the AI just spins up a temporary interface right in the flow. In the video below, I used it to construct the hallway system to closely match the layout of the severed floor. This is something I needed to do for this one project, this one time - I didn't need to make a whole separate app. Bridged Prompting lets you: - Make precise edits visually or structurally - "Hit save" to persist changes to local storage or a backend - Return to your natural language prompt

Voice-controlled UI. This is an agent design pattern I'm calling EPIC, "explicit prompting for implicit coordination." Feel free to suggest a better name. :-) In the video, I'm navigating around a map, conversationally, pulling in information dynamically from tool calls and realtime streamed events. There are two separate agents (inference loops) here: a voice agent and a UI control agent. They know about each other (at the prompt level) but they work independently.

The result - CanvasKit Tools used - Windsurf (retired) Cascade & OpenAI Codex CLI First agent run - 30 minutes Total time spent w/ extra prompting - 3 hours I think this could be a new metric for model evaluations - TTBS (time to billion $$ SAAS 😂) Code and details below:
