“Out of Oklahoma” my new song & video for the Twisters is out now. It’s wild how life throws a theme at you ain’t it 🌪️ My life the past few years has felt like a twister…hence why I titled my new album Whirlwind. So when I got the opportunity to write a song for the new Twisters, it was a challenge I couldn’t pass up. Reading Kate’s story, I found a lot of parallels between our lives. I’ve put in a lot of time and effort and work into this, you know what I mean? TiK ToK was the first single that I put into this world that had my voice AND my name credited!!!! I remember making it fun and happy because that’s how I felt and wanted others to feel. What I’m so proud of is that’s how this song STILL makes me feel, through it all, and those are emotions I want all of us to connect to. 15 (!!!!!!) years later, I see this song as a snapshot into the way I saw the world at the time. I thought like ‘All people might not like me but wouldn't it be worth trying to make them hate me?’. Like when would I have the chance again, since I’m already about to act for it. I think the show itself is better. I think there's something in this that allows me to like stay in my life while I'm doing it and therefore I think allows me to take care of myself better, which I think makes me better at doing the thing. It's not like I'm saying I'll never travel again, but I want to see what it looks like if you do it a different way. And you know, people in my band have like families now and kids and some aspect of that, too. “what are your dreams for the future?” 🆑: my ambition is to try and have the simplest life, keeping all those passions alive, and this is really where i’m spending my time now. i don't really need anything more because i’m happy the way i am, and my only ambition now is to obviously be a world champion. this is all i’ve ever dreamed about and this is all i’ve ever worked for and what i will continue to do so. but just having a relatively simple life and of course, simple is relative and it's more simpler than what it is now because obviously my life is quite hectic and i travel from everywhere. i go everywhere in the world every week for racing, for different kind of events. but trying to keep a simpler life and at the end of the day, i think what really matters in life is mostly people that you love most and to just keep that in mind, even though life is obviously quite hectic. 🎥: eight sleep
