I left the UK to ILORIN to surprise my family after being away for about 2yrs. Nobody knew I was coming except for Ustaz Awon Hoodlums as I felt it’s normal to let at least one person know about my journey. Each frame of this post means so much to me and my family and in a long time this is the happiest I’ve been. Alhamdulillah. Frame 1 : My mom Frame 2: My elder bro Frame 3 : My grandma Frame 4 : My sister who had dreamt 2 days earlier that I arrived and told her husband about it, she kept saying “I said it” 😂

This woman just found out while pumping gas that there is a risk of fire due to static electricity. She’s gone this long as a driver and never noticed the signs on the pumps or didn’t pay attention in driving school to know this. For me this is an urban legend, I know it’s not. But it’s one of those things I’ve heard about, but I’ve never seen any examples of it actually happening. Most cars now have metal handles inside the car to open the door. I think that by opening the door with the metal handle it prevents any static electricity as soon as you exit. It’s one of those out of sight out of mind scenarios that body ever thinks about because the chances of it happening is so low. Who knows, maybe I’m wrong and these happen more than I think but I just don’t hear about it. But either way I always try to be safe at the pump but I’m not going to be overly mindful about it.

I don’t know about you guys, but this kind of thing is a huge turn-off for me when it comes to buying a game. It reminds me way too much of some of my ex-girlfriends, and sometimes even my mom yelling at me for no reason. It’s just cringe and honestly annoying as hell. It also completely kills the immersion. I mean, this is a military shooter we’re talking about. Am I the only one who feels this way?

I thought I had seen it all when I was learning Adobe Photoshop back then in 2012. I discovered Figma four years ago and decided to explore the tool since I had been using Adobe XD and Sketch to create some mockups. When I discovered Figma, I created the prototype I shared in my last post just because it popped into my head when I was in the bathroom 😂. I rushed out and decided to try it immediately, more like a freestyle thing and was never intended to be a real product but could be modified into becoming one if the need arises. But many misunderstood the point, which was using the video to convey a message to other young designers never to skip the process, else you will create the wrong MVP. 🐻: The reason why I turned on the live for Armys.. the reason is, well, this might be kind of a TMI but also not? It’s not like someone asked me to promote their songs or something, or that I have a friend or any sort of connections with the group, it’s just I am a fan of the group Brown Eyed Soul and have been for a very long time. So I turned on the live to express and share with you their songs as a long time fan. I’m doing it for the first time. Ever since I have been a kid I have grown up listening to their songs and at one point they were my source of happiness growing up. So when I heard they are releasing a song like the fan I am naturally I got excited and wanted to publicly share this feeling with you Armys. Using Nano Banana Pro + Sora, I can now create a short video in just about one minute. I’ve been using Kling for a while to make short videos, and while the results can be great, the workflow has always felt a bit heavy for me. Previously, I had to export the video frame by frame as images, then send those keyframes into Kling’s first/last frame mode to generate the in-betweens. It worked, but it took a lot of time and small steps. Recently I realized I don’t necessarily need to do that anymore: now I can use Nano Banana Pro to generate the images, then send them directly to Sora to create the short video—no need to manually extract a specific frame. Another bonus is that Sora also handles basic sound design for you, which saves me from an extra round of editing and makes the whole process feel much lighter. This idea actually came from a post I saw this morning on Twitter by SD | AI Animation Storyteller, which gave me a new way of thinking about my workflow. I’m still experimenting, but so far it’s been a big improvement in efficiency for my use case. I’ve put the detailed steps I’m using in the comments in case anyone wants to try something similar.

I wanted to put out this version of Not Perfect on the day the album drops…. But I didn’t know what to do about a music video. I knew I didn’t want to make it grand, because it’s such a personal song… and one that I know means a lot to a lot of people. Also, this version is very chill - a kind of campfire arrangement - and I didn’t want to make it overblown. So a few weeks ago, in Leeds, I went and bought a selfie-stick, and took a walk around the town - an AirPod in one ear, looking like a weirdo, singing along to my own 21 year old song. I taped about 4 versions, then went home and cut it together on iMovie. I intended to just use it as a proof of concept and get more / different / better footage… but my tour overwhelmed me, and eventually I thought, actually, fuck it. It’s kinda perfect. I mean, not perfect, but mine. Love to the gorgeous smiley people of Leeds who waved and laughed and gave me shit and got excited. 😂🥰 Watch the full video here: #TimeMachineAlbum #NotPerfect

Mental Health tip for today… “Throw a party in your heart!!!” One of the best things about opening up fully about my mental health battles has been the learning journey I’ve since gone on. Now, as a result, I have new tools to fight my depression and anxiety, new rituals to navigate through that gray I live in. This is pretty cool and I learned it from a monk in Thailand (literally) and I now use it every night of my life to change what nights look like for me. I used to go to sleep absolutely dreading those first 15 minutes I laid my head on my pillow because I didn’t know how to like or love myself and I was laying there with someone I felt didn’t deserve to be liked or loved. Now, I use this tip to end my night on a MUCHHHH better plane and as a result start my day a little better. Give it a listen and if it resonates with you give it a try.
