I’m sick of reading AI slop, so today I’m open-sourcing my /no-ai-slop skill that removes 20+ slop patterns from any piece of writing. 📌 Get the free skill here: If you find it useful, please consider starring the repo so more people can find it. Why I built the skill: I use AI to edit my writing because it helps me fix spelling, grammar, and clarity. But even the best models keep producing the same slop that this skill removes: → Binary contrasts: “It’s not X. It’s Y.” → Throat-clearing openers: “Here’s what nobody tells you.” → Fake-profound endings: “The future isn’t coming. It’s already here.” Use this skill responsibly. I always write a first draft manually before iterating with AI on edits and I make sure to do another manual pass at the end as well. That’s in contrast to using AI to automate pumping out slop end-to-end. 📌 Read my full post for more on how I try to use AI responsibly to edit without giving into the dark side:

Explain resonance reading w/ AI so...I'm actually not comfortable with cameras. but I've been meaning to express more publicly for the kind of work I do, and since I've been doing readings for people, I want to put a face to my name to let you know that I'm real. In the past ~2 months, I've been using AI to do resonance readings for people, sometimes with a social profile, sometimes with just a name or username and nothing else. I've shared the readings with over 50 people including family, friends and strangers, and I'm happy to report that the results have been overwhelmingly positive, and I've yet to discover major inaccuracies (the readings are resonance-based extractions - mapping everything from personality architrcture and emotional patterns to past trauma echos, career direction, and relationship dymanics. each scan pulls from field data, revealing what's present, what's suppressed and what's about to emerge) while some people readily accepted and never bothered how we did it, some people are shook or maybe alarmed as the reading sometimes touches very personal layers. In this video, I attempt to answer how does it work. I'll eventually build a page or something to make it more informative. thx for your attention ＜3

WOW! I'm so excited about this. OpenAI Developers said Codex was good at Computer Use, but I wasn't prepared for this. For the last two weeks I've been working on a Computer Use skill to work with Linux. And while I had some success, it was a pretty frustrating experience. That is...until the breakthrough. Using accessibility tools, Codex can now control my entire computer, not just the browser. There are limits to this, of course, but what a time to be alive. They're people who lift others up and don't try to conquer each other; they’re more accepting and loving of who each other are. I do see angels among us, truly clear as day. I see the people who are fighting for the world to be a good place and I see the people who overcome darkness every day to help others, and make the world prevail in goodness. I've been building a "front page" for Toad (my terminal UI for agentic coding). This will the first page the user will see if they run "toad" from the command line without additional arguments. For here they can browse / search for agents and install directly from the command line. There are 10 agent supported so far, with more being added all the time. I also see this is a place to install other more specialized AI tools in addition to agentic coding. Check out the video! #toad #AI

I built a variant of Matt Pocock's grilling skill dedicated to frontend and it has improved how I build new apps and components. The general idea: 1. Use /grilling and /prototype as a base 2. Tell Claude to build 5 WILDLY different prototypes 3. Tell Claude to include a picker that lets you switch between each variant live 4. Each round you select your favorite(s) + leave feedback, and Claude will walk down each branch of the design tree, helping you zoom in on your desired design And THEN, I went and added it to /wayfinder, so whenever I make a new map and there's novel frontend work, a ticket is created specifically referencing that /grilling-frontend-prototyping needs to be invoked. This will not be the last time I build a cool skill and add it to Wayfinder; this is a very powerful pattern for planning work. You can find my skill here:
