I've been using the Ledge Run tech to get Green Screen animations of characters running, and I needed to get Sonic's running animation in Ultimate, only to learn that Sonic is one of the very few characters in this game that can't fucking ledge run 😭

you can do it with sonic, but it requires spirits to slow sonic down.

It's cuz you need to press A+B smash in their turn around animation but Sonic's is super fast. If you do it on a stage with ice which gets him stuck in that state for longer, it's actually possible. Don't know how you'd green screen it tho

You could go into training mode and have him run the entire length of it with he camera focused on sonic the entire time, or maybe just use part of it to loop his run animation as well?

Sonic's ledge run window frame is extremely small and idk why they did that sadly. Have you tried certain items such as Spicy Curry food, Bunny, any Mushrooms sizes, Time Clock, or etc...?

Sonic has it, but it's TOO hard to get it. I tried, trust me, even frame by frame in Training Mode. Just keep trying

Hmmm, I dunno how hard it'd be to get the wind removed but you could try using a custom stage with max wind But sonic could also likely run through it
