I've been warning for quite a while that the creeping influence of conspiracy theorists on the Right, many of them anti-Semitic, was a "gathering storm." I predicted an intellectual "civil war" would be necessary. Here's a bit of my rant from one show last year.

Ian Carroll was not on my radar at the time. The movement is now self-sustaining, like a nuclear reaction headed for China syndrome. It doesn't need new facts from the outside to fuel it; it can turn any facts, no matter how unlikely, into a conspiracy and fuel itself.

Like Tucker Carlson claiming Iran never hurt the U.S. even though they blew up our Marine barracks and kidnapped our diplomats, or Tucker acting like the Qataris didn’t do anything even though they have slaves and foment social unrest in the U.S. and kill Jews?

Prescient. Even worse, it's likely Tucker and Candace are just completely empty narcissists who are feeding a demand they sense. That speaks to a massive demand for Jew hate.

I've been sounding the alarms on this since Kanye kicked open the door for Nick Fuentes and his ilk. Once Fuentes started being mainstreamed on the manosphere sorts of podcasts, it was only a matter of time before more people jumped in on it. Grifters see what captures audiences and they jump in with both feet.
