After a few more hours, I think I've figured out Opus 5. Opus 5 is trained to be more agentic than anything I've used. All Claude 5 models are like that. So what changes? The way to interact with Opus 5 or contextualize it won't work the same way as with other models. It loves exploring, so it doesn't need much guidance for it. Unique preferences, artifacts, and references compliment it well and enable cleaner and more effective exploration and execution. Now that it can explore more effectively on its own and understand intent better, the best thing to do is to get out of its way (e.g., it doesn't need examples of your preferences; a clear high-level description of it works best). It's truly agentic in that sense. A good first step to provide better context for Opus 5 is to distinguish between what's situational and what needs persistence. Regardless, persistent system prompts and CLAUDE.MD needs to stay lightweight. Remove memories and tool descriptions from these. CLAUDE.MD is also a great place to tap into progressive disclosure by linking command/skills to it. On the situational side, agent skills and auto-memory can leverage progressive disclosure and the improved ability of the model to use its external context/knowledge. Conflicting and unnecessary instructions, which are common at this layer (mainly to ensure reliability), are going to throw off this model easily. That's the biggest change I had to make. Simple, clean, and clear prompts and skills work best. I had to clean a lot of my skills and system prompts. The way I prompt remains the same (usually clear and well-scoped). MCP tool descriptions are also more descriptive and have been deduped from the system prompt. Anthropic released a guide on the new rules for context engineering, which was helpful here. I started to test the recommendations and created a little artifact with the things that worked along the way. This might feel like a lot of work. Believe me, it has been frustrating. But I think we can expect future frontier models to become more agentic and smarter at figuring out the right context/gaps. The best thing to do is to prepare for that now. Boris Cherny mentioned that Opus 5 is their least prompt-injectable model yet. I am not sure if that was something they intentionally trained for or if it emerged based on how it was trained, which is to be extremely agentic in nature and more direct in execution.

I'm very proud to launch and introduce my design studio: Antitype. I've been convinced for several years that design will be the work of my life, and this studio is the starting point. A few days ago, a well-known designer publicly announced he was quitting design, overwhelmed by what AI is now capable of producing. A lot of designers share that feeling right now. I don't share it at all. I actually believe it's never been more important to create, to innovate on your product, your interfaces, your art direction. Differentiation has become key for ambitious companies looking to escape the standardisation that AI can generate. That's exactly what Antitype is built on: turning brand and product into a competitive advantage for those who want to stand out. This studio is a solid foundation for what I want to build long-term, and I'm really excited to share it with you!

Last post on this I'd appreciate if people took the time to read it and share it because I think when people listen they deserve credit but TRNSMT have done more than that I complained about the disabled situation TRNSMT Festival and I think the fact that they listened and made changes is the kind of progressive attitude we need towards disabled facilities. I wasn't complaining to come across as some sort of Karen, it just genuinely would've been a health and safety risk. So I think it's only right that I commend them for the work they've done with the platform this year. The platform has many key things that I think make it the best at any festival I've been at. 1.Clear marked out lanes for people to move out to the toilets and back to their seat to avoid congestion and create space 2. A bar for disabled people beside the platform this is amazing. 3. Toilets well spaced out as well as a changing places toilets for people who more severe disabilities beside the platform. 4. Plenty of space in the toilets. 5. It's huge and you feel really close to the stage

I've been testing out Windows 11's new Haptic Signals feature on compatible hardware, and I think I love it. I'm someone who yearns for small UX details like this, and I'm so happy to see Microsoft leaning into subtle but quality UX implementations like haptics across the Windows Shell. These new Haptic Signals provide a subtle bump when interacting with certain UI elements and actions, such as snapping app windows or dragging files in File Explorer. The feedback response feels great and intentional, and makes using the OS feel more satisfying. There's still room for improvement, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't impressed with this first implementation. It's only supported on a handful of devices for now, but that should change over time. I've always loved the haptic feedback layered throughout Google Pixel phones, and now Windows is getting its own version of it. More UX niceties like this, please!

Bit of end of cycle / start of year testing AKA gym yap Front Squat 140kg: Very happy with this given I've only been back squatting for 9 weeks, and that's the longest cycle I've been able to string together in like 5+ years. I can technically call this a PB since it was beltless, sleeveless and less fat bodyweight so over the moon here. Backsquats of any nature keep tweaking my lower back so gonna stick with fronts for the rest of the year. Bench 140kg: Ive done this a lot in the last 10 years, but I was always 105kg bodyweight or more. So to do it at 97kg is a big win. Pressing power has been feeling horrible for the last year or so and I couldn't figure out a good programme, so happy that it's finally clicked again. Deadlift 200kg: Tweaked my lower back 3 times last year and put a lot of effort into fixing it up and strengthening it. 200 was easy so I did attempt 220kg but as soon as it left the ground either I would have failed or had a 10 second grind on my hands so decided to just not risk it. Goal for last year was to get healthy enough to be able to train the deadlift again and I achieved that so despite being far from my best of 262.5kg I've very pleased Ive been able to get to a position where I can train it again without headaches or lower back tweaks. OHP 80kg: Haven't trained OHP in a year or more, and stopped doing behind the neck press 3 months ago when I started benching more, so just wanted to do this for fun. Bit off my best of 95kg but its funny how much strength you retain without even doing a vertical press. Cutting down to 90kg again over the next 2-3 months then will see where I can take these over the rest of the year. No real numbers in mind, just happy to be able to train hard.

I really learnt from the best If your content is averaging 700 views it’s of two things 1. It’s either you did not warm up your account well to the hashtag you are posting with 2. You have a general content problem , you need to find content that has been pushed in the last 1 month max and post I have 4 iPhones , 3 iphone 8 and 1 iPhone 7 , I post content on all everyday been doign this for the past 2 years I use the iPhone 7 to post for one of my brands And I use the 3 iPhone 8 to post for one brand The most important thing is , find what works for one phone and spread it across others It took me years to learn this One big lesson, don’t tell your vpn to X , you will hate yourself , not telling people the vpn I am using so they don’t overcrowd it If you post a content in your main niche, you should be averaging 1k+ - 5k+ views Trust me it’s a lot of work I also started posting on instagram and YouTube and they work differently , don’t post the same video content on both without observing hashtags I also posted on lemon8 , one of my post average 10k+ views Daily I get around 50 users , I have gone viral several times, one of my biggest virality is 700k+ views I really want to buy more iPhone 7 and 8 , It costs me arround $50-70 for each locally here Recently I have been thinking of how do I get clippers locally to do this and train them but it looks like it’s hard because you have to train them Taking advice from the legend Alex Nguyen I have not made a lot but trust me , it works This is proof from one of the apps , we ask during onboarding where they find us

“The Last Meatball” Animation: jboogx.creative & enigmatic_e Movement: jboogx.creative & enigmatic_e Reference Imagery: FLUX on Civitai Jboogx and I have known each other for the better part of the last 12 months. I think we've both been inspired by each other's work and dedication to exploring all the ways we can push these tools to their limits for VFX and animation. We didn't want to force a collaboration, but recently, Jboogx was inspired by the work I've been doing and how I incorporate myself into my animations. This idea is a playful take on 'Atlas carrying the boulder,' but with a twist—let's make Atlas out of spaghetti and the boulder a meatball, to fit more with what Jboogx has been doing on the food side of things lately (shoutout to our good friend James Gerde -@gerdegotit @gerdedoesit @gerdemadeit, who did the first spaghetti animation). Since I was going to record myself, it wouldn't have been right if Jboogx didn't as well! This is just a taste of what’s possible. I'm located in Germany, and Jboogx is in Hawaii. A world apart, and we pulled this together in 48 hours. BTS coming soon 😉

It had been sitting on our someday list for years, waiting for a team we didn't have. I stopped waiting and built it myself — a designer with Claude Code, one feature at a time. Claude wrote the Swift; I answered with the feedback designers give: two points left, lighter tint, that corner radius is wrong. Another round. And another. 33 days from the first prompt to live on the App Store. 1,078 prompts. Three releases in the first week. Something changed for designers. The distance between an idea and shipping used to be a team, a budget, and a year. Now it's a conversation. Savee 3.0 is out. It's the app I always wanted us to have 🚀

Most people think their AI is not smart enough. It is smart enough. It just knows nothing about you. Every chat starts from zero. You paste the doc. You explain the project. You explain the same project again tomorrow. I finally fixed that part: 👇 I have been running Littlebird for a while now. The idea is simple. It is a desktop app for Mac and Windows that reads the text on your active window and sits in on your calls. So it already knows what you have been working on before you ask it anything. You do not brief it. You just ask. What that looks like in a normal day: 1/ Chat that already has the context No pasting. I ask what changed in a brief last week and it answers from the actual document that was open on my screen. 2/ Meeting Notes that write themselves It transcribes the call, then hands me the decisions and the action items. I get to stay in the conversation instead of typing through it. 3/ Routines that run on a schedule A morning briefing. A weekly summary of what I actually shipped. It shows up on its own. 4/ Hummingbird for the small stuff It appears right where you are working, so a quick question does not cost you a window switch and ten minutes of drift. The point is not the notes. Plenty of apps take notes. The point is that I stopped re-explaining my own work to a machine fifteen times a day. Free plan if you want to test the idea before deciding. It’s our life’s work, and we are not going anywhere. Solana is also here to stay, further establishing itself as a force to be reckoned with and gaining more of the recognition it deserves. It's time for us to put forward more of the on-chain ecosystem projects we have always wanted to do. Rolling out new systems, incentives, and experiences to fortify Portals as one web3's killer apps and top destinations. We have a lot to share, and we can't wait to show you. One of the things I’ve struggled with this year is my weight, due to a new medication. I’ve always been someone who loves food, but after going on birth control for the first time in 10+ years I gained 25 pounds in less than 3 months. The birth control was one attempt to help with my severe PMDD symptoms, but sadly it didn’t work AND caused my cravings to skyrocket. After doing a full 3 month test my doctor and I decided to try other treatment options for PMDD. A big reason for that decision was because my body fat percentage was quickly nearing 40% and was starting to cause other health issues. I’ll be completely honest, I lost a lot of motivation in the months after gaining the weight. It became seemingly impossible to get back to where I was just 6 months ago. How could it go downhill so quickly? I am proud to report, however, that after 3 months of changing my mindset and focusing on myself I have lost 7 of those 25 pounds. I am finally going to the gym consistently again, eating the correct amount of calories per meal (except on big film days 😅), and have been spending more time with people who lift me up. I still have a long way to go, but for the first time in over a year I’m really starting to feel like myself again. Thank you to all of you who’ve been on this wild and incredible journey with me all these years 😘

I have a little robot that unlocks my door from the inside (so I don't have to carry a key) The problem was it wouldn't calibrate on my door. It was designed for 90° turns, but my lock only needs 15° In the past, this would've been a showstopper But I asked AI if it could help... At first, it suggested I snoop on the bluetooth connection to figure out the protocol Then it realized that we could probably just decompile the app's SDK and read its source code. That worked! It told me to switch to my mac and run some python for it. Unfortunately, it couldn't run the scripts directly because Claude Code Desktop didn't have bluetooth permissions, but my shell did. Thinking about it now, I probably should've used Claude Code or Codex in the Terminal. Anyways, it took a while, lots of backs and forths, we had some misunderstandings, it was massively overcautious in the beginning, but we finally got the lock calibrated! Feels like magic! I threw the repo up on github in case anyone in the future (ie me) runs into a similar issue – hopefully it can save them some time

I’m less than 100 followers away from 10,000. That number might be arbitrary to some people… but to me, it’s not. Almost three years ago when I started this journey on X, I wrote “10,000” on a Post-It note and stuck it where I could see it every day. It was a goal. A milestone. A promise to myself. I’ve never used bots. Never joined engagement groups. Never done follow-for-follow. Never manipulated the system. For nearly three years, what you’ve gotten is just me, my creativity, my thoughts, my ideas, my humor, my critiques, my communities, my Spaces, my encouragement when I see you show up on the timeline. X is not an easy platform to grow on. In fact, I think it’s one of the hardest. Building something authentic here takes time, resilience, and thick skin. There have been ups and downs. There have been moments of doubt. Even these last 100 followers have felt like a climb. But I’m still pushing. Because I know I can get there. That Post-It note had other goals on it too. One of them was earning a living here. That hasn’t happened yet. But I still believe it’s possible. I just don’t know when. Through it all, I’ve stayed positive. Even when I’ve offered critiques, they’ve come from a place of love for this platform and belief in what it can become. I’m thankful for Elon. I’m thankful for the X team. But most of all, I’m thankful for you. My followers. My subscribers. My audience. My friends. When I’m lonely. When I’m tired. When I just need connection. I know I can open this app… and you’re there. Tonight, as I’m laying in bed thinking about how close this milestone is, I just feel gratitude. Thank you for walking this road with me. 5-Month Methylene Blue Update I've been taking Methylene Blue since October and I wanted to reflect on the first 5 months with it. I’ve been micro-dosing to experience the mental benefits, so usually 3-5 drops. In the first couple months the effects were truly mind-blowing. The cognitive enhancements felt like magic. My focus became laser-sharp, and my memory was spot-on, especially my visual recall. The enhancement of my mental-visual abilities was the most amazing change. I've always been a very visual person. If I had an idea, I could picture it much easier than I could explain it. Methylene Blue increased that ability tenfold. Verbalizing my thoughts became much easier as well. Methylene Blue is certainly a verbal lubricant; my words would flow off the tongue almost effortlessly (in a good way). Drive, motivation, inspiration, and feeling like I can take on the world are what the above elixir provides. Coffee thoughts - I’m not sure Candace is coming back. “I want to thank Baron for telling me it was time to do this”. “Thank you to everyone that’s been on this journey it’s been a heavy one.” “Today went a lot different than I thought it was going to be” Just for the record the court filing I posted last night was to get more time to respond and to go from 25 pages to 35 pages on why the court case with Harpole should be dismissed for “Failure to state a claim”. She’s trying to get it dismissed before it goes to discovery. Put the paperwork in AI it will give you the specifics. We all knew it was coming. The money it takes to fight these suits is insane. She’d be stupid to not try to get it dismissed. And Tennessee has more laws protecting public figures so it would be easier to get dismissed than in Delaware (that doesn’t) with the Macrons. I still think more happened yesterday. And the way she was acting just gives me this maybe it for a bit. Maybe I’m wrong but I knew yesterday something was up. Her video seemed more directed at making her last claims on everyone than continuing the attack. There was nothing there for an emergency video. She’s heavily pregnant, she’s run out of material, she’s being sued and the cases are coming up, she has 4 kids about to be 5 and you can only attack people so long with the same accusations. The trial is coming up that will disprove the conspiracies. Or maybe she just wanted one last show until she gets back. I still question if maybe another lawsuit dropped. We shall see. Off to vacation myself. Apparently we are going to Spain. (Joking).

Astra (GPT-6) is here!!! I've had early access and tested it like crazy with things like games, code, writing, browser control, presentations and general knowledge work. This is the best model I've ever used. Period. (Incredible demos below in this thread ⬇️) Here's my take on Astra: > It's insanely capable. This feels like a massive improvement, not just an incremental change. This is especially true with zero-shot prompts. > It's all about knowledge work. Slide creation, analysis, writing, and browser control. And oh my...it's so good at browser control. GPT-5.6 was already fantastic at doing things in the browser, Astra is another level and significantly faster. > We're closer than ever (arrived?) at prompt-to-playable game. And I don't just mean only playable, these are actually fun games. I bet if someone with a great eye for games used Astra, they could create a viral game within 1-2 weeks. > Astra is better at writing but not perfect. It removes much of the "AI Smell" we're all familiar with but some stink still survived. > It has a tendency to use the same design colors and look/feel as GPT-5.6 (forrest green anyone?) but it is more steerable in design than previous models. > It's highly steerable in general. A little nudge goes a long way. When I first started using Astra, almost every task I gave it would go for ~30 minutes. I wanted it to keep working. Adding more specifics to a prompt helped greatly with it's ability to work for a long time. > Astra's 3D understanding is unmatched. 3D asset creation was consistent and easy and its spacial awareness while building complex 3D worlds blew me away.
