I've changed my tune a bit on this Notre Dame stuff. Irish deserve a better explanation for being left out of the College Football Playoff than 'Miami was finally beside them.'

I wish people realized it was about Bama getting blown out, not moving, and essentially being given a gift to stay in the CFP…not Miami.

Not about Miami being in ahead of ND, its about Alabama being in ahead of ND, then Miami and the rule change from the previous week's rule, and then the rankings come out. It is also about the old rule of late losses should matter more. 16 teams, no conf. championships or byes.

Miami moved up 8 spots from the first ranking while playing essentially the same schedule as Notre Dame during the same period.

No, need a better reason why Alabama got in. Lost by three touchdowns this weekend, lost three games, lost to a 5-7 team, almost lost to a 5-7 and 4-8 team. Also, only team not to drop a spot after losing their conference title game in playoff history. Rigged by ESPN and SEC.

This is all we’ve been asking for. I’m not against Miami getting in - it the way ND was strung along for weeks! If Miami was always going to move ahead of ND - why not pull the trigger sooner.

We deserve to know why we were ranked ahead for Miami and Alabama for weeks and then all a sudden-boom-Alabama and Miami surge ahead of us. Alabama had three losses, including a horrible Florida state team, and barely beat a really crappy Auburn team.

It's not that "Miami was beside them". It's that Miami BEAT their ass in a head to head game.

That’s the corrupt part. The “committee” had to figure out a way to put them beside each other so they inexplicably moved Bama up for no reason, sold everyone on the SEC’s 5th ranked bubble team not being able to move down while simultaneously moving BYU out of the way.

Simple. Ask the committee why it was so important to include Alabama. The committee's insistence on shoe-horning in an Alabama team with 3 losses (2 embarrassments!) is the reason ND got left out.

If I was to bet HTH right now the only teams I would take over ND would be IN, OSU and GA. I’m taking ND over everyone else.

ND played the 45th ranked schedule and lost to the only two really good teams they played and only played one additional team with a pulse. We don’t give points anymore for beating high school teams by 80. This isn’t the 90s.

If you can get punished for losing a conference championship then you should get punished for not playing in one.

The @CFBPlayoff committee planned on ignoring the H2H match-up until the 11th hour when Virginia lost. Otherwise, UVA would have claimed JMU's spot and Notre Dame would have been in. Alabama was not going to be left out being that they qualified for the SEC title game.

I would love to see how much money ESPN would have lost if the ACC wasn't in the CFP.

Common sense tells you if you played a team and they beat you, then if a decision has to made about you and that team, you will lose that decision 🤷🏾‍♂️

ND wants a playoff of the top 12 or 16 ranked teams instead of one filled with conference locks and bonus games that can help but not hurt. Confs have stopped a true playoff for 100 years, and hurt the game,
