It is so important that this hero's self-worth isn't just measured on the clock at the end of the race, but also in their character and struggle. Anyone watching this is left in no doubt about what a strong, inspirational individual Ciara is. Can't measure that on a stopwatch

Sports is a cruel world, its extremely sad to see such a strong athlete who has sacrificed so much to get to the Olympics have it all go up in smoke Ciara can hold her head up high, shes such an inspiration but all of our words of support will never give her back #ParisOlympics
