@AlyssaNaeher @sammymewy Uncle saying her retirement announcement is a bit out of character and says she always envisioned pulling an “Irish exit” (aka Irish Goodbye). I think many of us expected the Irish Goodbye. But having your last two games abroad is close enough. 😂

Alyssa still pretty much accomplished it, though, since she’s leaving while the team is playing overseas. 😭 I hope the USWNT brings her back to honor her during SheBelieves. Looks like Sonnet will now be the leader.
