Coding agents shouldn't run on a laptop. That's why I've been building Cave. It's a self-hosted platform for running OpenCode agents in isolated sandboxes on your own server. You give it a GitHub repo, it creates an isolated sandbox, clones the code, sets everything up, and gives you a coding agent. Check in from your phone, run multiple agents side by side. It's not open source yet (it will be), but I'm opening a private beta so you can install it on your own server already. I've been dogfooding it since day one. Serious one today, they made me stand infront of camera. Anyone's who's left knows how much of a ballache transition can be. Too many orgnaisations not doing very much. I've been working on this Johnny and Ben, who makes AI stuff, to try and sort some of the issues in the space. Have a look, let me know any questions or feedback. Essentially has all the support available and jobs, while sorting it all with AI so it's actually relevant.

I've talked about them before, and they are collaborating with me on this post. This is one of the coolest open-source AI agent projects I've seen in a while: 'Understand Anything' It's a plugin for Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode etc. that analyzes your codebase and turns it into a knowledge base that you can interact with. It explains the codebase to you, rather than showing you the structure. It seems like it's designed for code but I opened my Obsidian vault of podcast highlights in Claude Code, then ran /understand. The result is a knowledge graph that I can search of highlights from 888 podcast episodes and 144K lines of markdown text.

✨ I tried Claude Code cause Marc Köhlbrugge kept telling me too and asked it to make this inpaint editor for Photo AI I had this idea of some 🌈 holographic paint brush strokes so I just asked it and it one shotted this glowing JS code for , extremely cool because I could never make this myself without AI All vanilla jQuery code also no libraries (as usual) The inpaint editor lets you edit any of your phtoos AND it uses your AI model so even if you touch the face it still looks like your model unlike regular AI image editors! Also this brings my editing (and all my features now) in-house (before it was an embedded Photopea editor)
