Had to tap back in to all my guys out there who - like me - no longer have our fathers to say Happy Father’s Day to. My old man died suddenly a few years ago. Unfortunately, we got in a fight about a month earlier and I never reconciled with him or even had a chance to say goodbye. So for me, every Father’s Day has become very tricky because there’s a lot pain. But every Father’s Day is also one of my greatest days because I have three amazing daughters who tell me, I love you and Happy Fathers Day. To my guys out there, if your old man is still around - consider it a blessing. Even if you and your dad are working thru some complicated shit. I’ve been there and I understand. But do your best to reconcile and get that drama behind you and get right with your dad. It’s important. Because the alternative is regret and I don’t want that for you. Happy Fathers Day. Happy New Year, friends! I've gone pretty quiet for a few months... the chemo finally wore me down and I was just too tired to manage much. I wasn't doing worse or emotionally struggling; just very wiped out. So, I have one-shotted a New Year's greeting and cancer treatment update. It's not short, but I hope you can watch it on 2x. First half - general update. Second half - medical details. Direct yourself to whichever interests you more. Medical TLDR: Chemo wrapped up in November. I had the mastectomy in mid-December. Radiation and new chemo are slotted for this spring. Pathology came back: some interesting findings and some overall good news. And I am hanging in there - physically and emotionally - doing quite well, and enjoying this season where both the chemo effects and pain from the last surgery are wearing off. My next surgery is on Monday. I love you all for being so supportive during 2025. 2026 will still be a trial, but up from here.

Anyone remember Armand’s Pizza. It was Chicago style deep dish pizza that started in DC 50 years ago. At one point there were a bunch of them all over the DMV, but for the last few years, the final one remained in Rockville, Maryland. Well, unfortunately, Armand’s it’s about to be gone for good, as the final location will be closing in a week. Now, if you watch this channel, you know, I prefer Tavern style pizza if I’m in Chicago, and I do not eat deep dish pizza unless I’m inside Chicago 😜 (Shoutout Peaquods). So I had never been here before, but I felt like a lot of people might have some memories of this so I wanted to show them one last pizza. PS: Giordano’s, which is from Chicago just opened up a location in DC so maybe I’ll have to check that one out too lol.

Left Essex at 10am this morning… arrived in Manchester at 4pm… and didn’t even bother checking into the hotel. Straight to the office and straight back out on the doors canvassing with the boys. 💪🇬🇧 The atmosphere here is absolutely brilliant. It’s been fantastic seeing so many boards outside people’s homes and, more importantly, having proper conversations with local residents about the issues that matter. There’s a real sense that something is changing. They say never meet your heroes… well I’ve done it again today. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Suella Braverman a few times over the past couple of weeks, and once again she was absolutely lovely. We had a really good, long conversation — she’s an incredibly interesting, supportive lady and a true inspiration. Now it’s a quick glass of wine at the hotel 🍷, popping out for a bite to eat, and then an early night… because tomorrow is Election Day.
