I've learned police obtained this surveillance video several days after the murders. The video shows Kaylee Goncalves and Maddie Mogen walking in downtown Moscow, Idaho hours before murders. Our NewsNation report tonight:

@NewsNation Criticizing law enforcement is not the correct strategy. What is the Goncalves lawyer hoping to accomplish? Are you going to sue the Moscow PD for negligent investigation? You’re just helping the killer’s defense attorney.

@NewsNation I don't think it is proper for a family to hire an attorney telling the public that the Moscow police mishandled case, the FBI agents & state Police were involved from day 1, a team of professionals is working on the case. the family has never said one nice word about the police.

@NewsNation We know same today as we did month ago.Mike DeWine the now governor of Ohio was the DA in 2014 during a 6 person murdered in sleep.Took 2 years to ended up being own family.Took 2 years long time.Pike County murders.
