I think this is one of the main issues that creator coins / shitcoins is facing this guy Cayde.wav is an artist who posts his paintings on twitter, his art is pretty sweet, and he gets tons of impressions (millions of views on some posts) someone went and found his stream, created a bags coin for him, and is begging him to claim the fees the artist had nothing to do with crypto, didn't ask for a coin, and just wants to paint on stream meanwhile the entire chat is people begging this dude to endorse the coin and make it his own because they want to make money off him but he is skeptical because he never intended to launch a coin and is facing insane pressure to make a decision because he knows he will be stuck with it if he endorses the coin, he is stuck with it but gets the fees if he doesn't endorse the coin, he gets mass harassed by crypto people calling him an idiot so the question here, is the space properly "onboarding" people the right way to where creators feel comfortable about what theyre doing when it comes to having a creator coin? this happens with artists, tech platforms, influencers, etc.. all the time watch the video, and let me know your thoughts

I think I’ve only ever had one real hero in my life: Terry Fox. This week I’ve been reflecting on my race, but also missing out on the Terry Fox runs back home that I’d usually be out to support. I’ve taken so much inspiration from Terry. His dedication, his humility, and his desire to use his story & passion to do good in the community are just a few of his traits that I try to emulate in my own journey. These are all chronic traits but in a moment last Saturday morning, on the streets of Tokyo, it was Terry’s strength of will that I needed most. It was a trait I wasn’t sure I had. But like Terry, I simply had to try. 1 step, then 100 steps, then 1000 steps. I’ve learned a lot about myself this week. I’ve learned that I’m so much stronger than I think I am. I’ve learned that the thing about the Gold medal that brings me the most joy is seeing the joy it brings others when I ask if I can put it around their neck. And I’ve learned that 30 odd years ago I chose the best hero imaginable. Thank You Terry for teaching me what it means to be Canadian, for showing me the power our dreams have, and for teaching me that we all have tremendous strength. As I got deeper into collecting arcade games, I eventually acquired the Model 1, Model 2, and Model 3 boards that powered the Virtua Fighter series. Unlike most arcade hardware, these systems are incredibly large and complex, which made it difficult to enjoy them properly. I’m probably the only crazy person in the world who would build something like this. 😆 I always wanted to create a setup that would let me use them more conveniently, and after years of planning, I finally built a Model board selector. Out of all the custom projects I’ve made, this is the one I’m most attached to, and it’s also the one I use the most. A lot of people ask how I built it or whether I’d be willing to sell one, but it’s extremely complicated to make and surprisingly expensive. Because of that, I’ve only ever built a single unit. I’m probably the only crazy person in the world who would build something like this.

I just officially applied to join the Believe team as a Community Manager. To be honest, I’ve kind of already been doing the job for the past 2 months - helping creators onboard, answering questions in DMs, clearing up confusion about fees, airdrops, and legal docs, and trying to keep the energy around Believe positive and forward-looking. I’ve interviewed 35+ Believe creators on the Dashcoin Research podcast, spent a ton of time in Telegram and Slack talking to founders, and I’ve tried my best to show up for Ben Pasternak and the team when the ecosystem needed someone to help navigate FUD or criticism. I genuinely enjoy doing this. I want to help make Believe the best place for founders to launch a coin, and create a community of people who want to see them win. For the last two months I've lived in this ecosystem. I trade the tokens. I’ve launched one myself. And I know what it feels like to be in the dark as a founder or confused as a holder.
