I've never seen a full moon look this adorable. By carefully adjusting the drone's altitude, a photographer on the grasslands of Hulunbuir created the illusion that the moon was a little ball being bounced in someone's hands. Playful as it is, the full moon still carries a hint of longing.

Quick zoom in of the Moon this evening, little shaky at full zoom, haven't used the tripod for a while, and it was sticking a bit, shaking is my hands trying to follow the moon and keep it in frame. Nikon P900.

January Full Moon 2026 is the Wolf Supermoon! 🐺🌕 On January 3 at 10:03 GMT, the first Full Moon of 2026 rises – known as the Wolf Moon. Named for the howling of wolves on cold winter nights in the Northern Hemisphere, this Moon has been part of folklore across cultures for centuries. 2026’s Wolf Moon is also a Supermoon, meaning it will appear a bit bigger and brighter than usual as it swings closer to Earth. 🌍✨ Look for it shining near Jupiter and the star Pollux in the night sky, and if you’re in the Northern Hemisphere, you might even catch it rising inside the Winter Hexagon of bright stars. Start the year by gazing up – this lunar spectacle is hard to miss! 🌕 #fullmoon #supermoon #wolfmoon #moon #starwalk

ELON MUSK: "Neil Armstrong, Neil A, spelled backwards is Alien. We went to the moon a few times. We didn't just go to the moon. We actually got a little bored and started playing golf on the moon. I literally did. Whacked golf ball on the moon." 😂

Time-lapse video shows a “Strawberry Moon" rising behind the ancient Temple of Poseidon on Greece’s southern coast on Tuesday, casting a glow over the clifftop ruins as it climbed into the night sky. According to the Farmers' Almanac, June’s full moon is traditionally known as the “Strawberry Moon," a term used by Native American Algonquian tribes living in the northeastern U.S. to mark the ripening of strawberries ready for harvest.

When I was 17, I stood on a Disney Channel set and sang "We went to the moon in 1969" into a camera. It was supposed to be a joke — a deliberately silly song about a historical fact. But somehow that little earworm stuck with millions of kids who are now the adults watching tonight's launch. Artemis II is sending the first woman toward the Moon. The first Black astronaut to the Moon. The first Canadian to the Moon. Under a full Pink Moon. On April 1st. You couldn't write this. Christina Koch, Victor Glover, Reid Wiseman, Jeremy Hansen — Godspeed. 🙏 We went to the moon in 1969. And tonight, we're going back. #Artemis2 #NASA #ChristinaKoch #WeWentToTheMoon #PinkMoon #BackToTheMoon
