Jake's been painting the strike zone his whole career. Pretty sure he knows exactly where he needs to put those pitches. Never seen him that upset over a call.

I’m still a Mets fan who is bitter about Jake’s departure, but the ump getting all cocky like deGrom’s some kid who hasn’t won 2 Cy Young Awards is a little wild.

Cannot wait for robo-umps (at least for balls & strikes)

He should be mad. These umpires should be rated every game and at the end of the year, the low graded umpires should be excluded from the playoffs. How are pitches 3 & 6 not strikes.

It’s literally every game that the umps are blatantly inconsistent with the strike zone. Don’t remember it ever being this bad

Should keep “errors” for umps so there is accountability. The goal is perfection bc the alternative is computers. Challenges to balls/strikes can’t come soon enough
