There IS a such thing as “dancing” tornadoes. It is not the scientific name for this phenomenon. They are not a new thing. Their frequency is not increasing. - Compliments of grok.

Tornadoes are Birkeland currents. It's an electrical plasma phenomenon. We see filaments like this crisscrossing space too. They can span many light years in length. Astrophysicists call them "clouds", but they are a lot more like cables. Some are even coaxial in structure.

They have been doing it for many years. Look up the 1955 'Great planes outbreak' Blackwell Tornado. It was literally glowing. 😉
