I’ve never understood why we pay tolls on these new roads/tunnels when we already paid to get them built…why are we “over”paying twice?

And once a toll system goes in it never gets removed no matter how many times over the road gets paid for.

What's it called - private/public partnership or some bs.

Yup some utter BS fleecing the people

I’m loving @DHughesy pulling the corruption apart!

Labor AND Greens last.

Bc union and labor mates running vic... 🤦♂️

Labor has a history of this corruption. The Eastlink was fully funded 50/50 state and federal. Bracks promised he wouldn’t toll it if elected. Bracks was elected, knocked back the federal funding and tolled it. Now we are still paying over $7 billion for a $1.2 billion job.

Because you're a peasant that your governments use to make them money. Shut up and pay your tax!

@johnq63175976 On ya Dave 💪

When I moved to Melbourne in 2013 as a Civil Engineer I couldn’t believe what was going on. The job market was dead and labour had just come into power and ripped up the contracts to pay $1B for nothing. Incredible. That shty single lane road in front of the zoo connecting two major freeways is still there. Fkn unbelievable!

Because the govt is fingering us at every possible opportunity

It’s just like fucking parking 🅿️ they all owned by foreigners just like the toll roads

His wife should commit him

I thought they were owned by the Chinese

Because we didn’t pay for them, hope that clears it up!

The Gateway bridge in Brisbane was to return to the city when paid off. Welllllll.........somewhere during another Labor term, I believe it was Blight, the bridge was "mortgaged". Twice.Of course by now the younger voters have no clue about so many of these lies and deceptions...

I’ll never understand why the government pays employees and law enforcement to be debt collectors for a private company till fines. If only all businesses could get the police to be their accounts receivable department.

You didn’t pay for them with taxpayer money - either the Government or the builder borrowed it. The tolls repay that. As for @DHughesy the highest estimate from the guy who did the audit was $15billion - stop making up numbers like $30 to $40 billion.

Pretty much The public pays for it the unions rort it then the cunts lease it to the multinational company that is owned by the union super funds. That’s pretty much the business model

How do Private companies impose fines

Why are these roads charging a user pays charge when we pay among the highest taxes in the world because people have surrendered to the socialist slippery slope of increasing control and taxes?

Dave You clearly havnt got a clue how PPP's work or why politicians do them How about you do some homework before you make a bigger fool of yourself.

Transurban has a lot of explaining to do

🤓The Scams will continue until we all say NO MORE...

Sydney life.....

This bloke must wake up hating life every day. Clearly depressed and lost his way. Black cloud's must follow him around even on sunny days. Bad luck negative vibes.

Socialize cost, privatize profits! That is how things run these days. Total corruption!

The company borrowed the money ,built it and now we have to pay it back and we have many years till is paid off Even me knows that

Corruption to its max!

Hang on? Like Pauline Hanson you support State Funded State Operated and State Owned Coal Fired Power Plants. And then will force taxpayers to pay for expensive electricity from the plants they just paid for and own. You sure Pauline isn't making you look ridiculous? #auspol

Why are we paying to use public transport? We've already built the infrastructure. See how that sounds?

That’s why we laugh 😂😂👍

Dave. Come on fella! We’re you not out there on the the take shaming people who were not taking up the cross and self harming them selves for the basic right to survive. And now you are are all up and and about because you can’t take up some tax benefits? Dave Hughes. Really!
