If Republicans are serious about the border, we should impeach Secretary Mayorkas immediately. But I am ashamed to report that I do not think we have the votes right now to move that impeachment out of the House Judiciary Committee. That is WEAKNESS on the part of Republicans.

After seeing videos of the wildfires in Canada, and witnessing the smoke which is worse than I've ever seen before, I feel like humanity has crossed the Rubicon. I don't have any optimism today. Is there any reason to have any? It's a one day at a time thing for me. The people who deny that we are witnessing ecocide and climate degradation of a magnitude that is "faster than previously expected" have a blindfold on- really too afraid to face reality or climb out of the echo-sphere of denialism.
