Thought the boss battles were awesome. BUT, other than that, the game is mediocre on so many facets and the quests are borderline amateur in execution. Meh

I played the whole game on xbox and it was the most boring game I think I've played in years.

I found 16 to be good but by the end of it. I just wanted it to be over. Great looking game. Drug on way to long

I had a good time with it but I understand the criticism. It’s a bit jarring to go full character action game like dmc. People who wanted an atb turn based system got alienated as well as those who like strategy who can’t do the action and putting on the accessibility options makes it too easy and not rewarding feeling

If anything it’s highly overrated very shallow in both gameplay and story. Ff16 is GOT mixed with a stripped down version of GOW, literally somehow they ended up with less rpg mechanics than a GOW game. Flashy, big gimmicky fights all in a generic ff world.

It's not a 'pure' FF, but it's a great action game in its own right.

People will hate me for this, but it's the best FF game I have ever played. Each battle was more iconic than the one before.

Idk I think it's OVER rated, practically zero RPG elements in a final fantasy game? Rebirth was so so much better

Was bored with it, felt slow, dialogue was a miss, each boss had the same move set. Hype up a big boss for it to be lack luster. Battle ending felt like a let down with no reward.

Square Enix still has not released a patch for ps5 pro pssr 2, they released a pss2 patch for rebirth immediately even though rebirth has sold less than 16

I loved the combat and fighting in this game. The story was fun too and I loved the new adaptation for the summons. There’s just something kind of hollow about this game ? I loved it but I don’t LOVE it. Something off.

The most cinematic boss fights ever. The game's pretty easy, and the side quests are terrible, but the story is one of the best in the series, and like I said the boss fights will blow your mind.

I beat this game and I have no desire to ever touch it again. I love RPGs. This wasn’t an RPG. I was so bored all throughout the game. The boss fights were the only good part. And even then, all I had to do was mash the same button at the right times to win. This is a game of all time. Not surprised it didn’t sell well.

It looks viasually interesting but at the same time it looks like the game doesn't know that it wants to be. It's less dynamic than an actual hack n slash like DMC, but it also doesn't appear to focus on strategy.
