@gecffmn I had a German shepherd do that to me when I was a kid. It was terrifying. I have a healthy wariness whenever I am around other people's dogs or riding by to this day. I also have the scars on my leg to remind me. I am glad that little boy was not hurt worse.

If this is real, who knows nowadays, the dog was not attacking the girl in his mind; He was trying to play with her. He should not have been out of his yard, and his owner should have taught him better, but that was not an attack in the dog's mind. It's not good that he knocked the girl over and it should not have happened but, it wasn't an attack.

That is horrifying, and triggers me so bad. I was attacked three years ago by a huge Pitt and it took everything I had to fight it off. It destroyed my left knee and I've had two surgeries to fix it. I can't imagine what this dog would have done to this small kid if that man had not come along.

@gecffmn All the credit when good things happen, none of the blame when bad things happen. “He works in mysterious ways” when Madison Hull gets mauled and killed by 3 dogs. Also, weird that God decided to override that mans free will to stop suffering, i was told he can’t do that.

@gecffmn This isn't a miracle. It's a good samaritan, which comes from a high-trust community and society. If this had happened in poorer areas, much higher chance that people would have gathered around to watch.

@gecffmn That happened to me when about the same age. It traumatized me to the point I was very fearful of strange dogs the rest of my life. I never had a dog as a pet. Thank God for that brave man.
