I've seen some men reference the literature suggesting men's infidelity evolved to argue that women should accept male infidelity. Strange, as the same literature also argues women's infidelity evolved.

Some may take issue with the phrasing of "evolved to," in this video. This is of course meant casually, not to imply teleology.

Not only that but men could only procreate so much without there eventually being birth defects. They had to block this one guy from donating sperm because he already had 100 kids or something like that

Having a cheating husband is much more beneficial than a wife in terms of reproductive success though.

Honestly, Macken sometimes has decent takes. The problem is that he is beholden to academia which is fully captured by the feminist gynocentric social order of the day. Just when you think he gets to the core of something he sprinkles it with his blue pilled bullshit.

But nature never lies , and man can have multiple partners and be relatively successful compared to a female doing the same , first of all it's not safe for her to do so , given the violence this tends to lead to plus it's catastrophic for the children

Do women like beards on men? Human male secondary sex characteristics evolved not to attract females, but rather to compete against other males. Consider the example of beards. Why do males develop facial hair during puberty? Evidence is mixed about whether women find beards attractive. Some women like them, others don’t, and for others, it depends. But there is clear evidence that men view other men with beards as more intimidating than clean-shaven men. Or take deep voices. Women, on average, tend to think deep voices are attractive. But in comparison, men are even more likely to find men with deep voices to be intimidating. The same basic pattern has been found for muscularity. Women find it to be attractive, up to a certain point. But men report feeling threatened by large physicality in other males. Such research suggests that intrasexual competition has given rise to male traits such as broad shoulders, large muscles, deep voices, and facial hair. Men evolved these traits not so much because women find them sexy, but more so because other men find them intimidating. As the psychologist Steve Stewart-Williams has written, secondary sex characteristics appear to be more like deers’ antlers than peacocks’ tails. The peacocks’ tail evolved to attract female peahens. But male deer evolved antlers not to impress female deer, but to compete with other males. That same logic seems to apply to the characteristics of human males.
