The fact that my ex-husband and I have a daughter together is why we made peace and decided to be friends plus we’ve known each other since I was three. He and my husband have been close friends since we married as well. You have to decide what’s most important and for us it is our daughter and now our granddaughter.

This was a problem I had to deal with as a teacher. So many of my kids wanted nothing to do with their fathers because they were gaslit by their mothers in thinking they were a terrible person. It's sad.
