There is a layer of this that is completely orchestrated infighting. I believe some of it stems from outside influences intentionally manufacturing drama within specific groups. Some of it comes from bad actors who pretended to be on the right side of things being exposed, and some of it is driven by the reality that because no one can be trusted right now, suspicion is at an all-time high. This atmosphere of total paranoia is exactly what "they" want.
