I’ve talked a lot on here recently about how the old glow behavior with Liquid Glass made no sense when Apple still has many SDR displays in their lineups. This is what I was talking about: very annoying and difficult or impossible to read. Recorded on my iPad mini.

designers love to hate on raw, unfinished things. redesigning the whole ios/watchos/macos/... ui after a decade is a brutal challenge for any design team! almost impossible to satisfy the expectation. most haters around here have never designed in a large organization like apple and are not aware of challenges such as politcs, opiniated stakeholder, impossible deadlines, the list goes on... i empathise with the ui designers in apple. yes! os26 and liquid glass feels rough at the moment! so did the ios7 at launch. it evolved. this will too. i appreciate the brave direction apple has taken with this liquid glass ui. yes it comes with challenges including readability, compatibility and more... let's stop b*tching about it and contribute to solutionise these challenges.

YOOOO, Apple forgot to tell us whether the iPhone Duo has 120Hz ProMotion on both inner and outer display or not?? I would be shocked if they support upto 1hz-120hz LTPO+ ProMotion on both displays, putting iPad mini in rip mode 🤯 They also didn't mention about the PWM rate 🫩

iPhone Duo just made the iPad Mini pointless and nobody at Apple is talking about it. 7.6 inch display. Apple Pencil support. Split View. Two Safari windows side by side. This is an iPad that fits in your pocket and makes phone calls. Why would anyone buy an iPad Mini now? The Duo does everything it does plus it folds shut and slides into your jeans. Apple just killed their own product and Samsung couldn't even kill a crease in 8 years. Follow me, I'm about to show why the Duo is replacing three devices at once.

Hayley Kiyoko on reuniting with Stefanie Scott (who also was in the original 2015 music video) to write the screenplay for ‘GIRLS LIKE GIRLS’: “She knew my story when I fell in love with this girl, and so it just made sense to develop the story together very, very early on. The script has taken on many iterations since then, but we're so appreciative of her collaboration on this film.”

When I think about myself building my business and how many times: - I was on the brink of failure - I lost a lot of money - I just didn’t think I had what it took I thank myself for never quitting because it made me who I am today.

🚨 ELON MUSK ON WHY HE CAME TO AMERICA: “Cool technology happens in America. That’s why I came here. Growing up I traveled around Africa and other countries, and I went to the U.S. when I was about 10. I read a lot of comics and books on technology, and it always seemed like when there was cool technology or things happening, it was in the United States. So my goal as a kid was to try to get to America.”

Keir Starmer says he had no idea about a smear campaign paid for by a Labour group: Think tank "Labour Together" are facing allegations they paid for an investigation into journalists. Starmer is either a liar or he actually has no idea about anything thats actually going on in the Labour party. How many times has he said recently "I had no idea this was going on and there will be an investigation"

"My Best Friend's Girl" (1978) is pure new wave nerves. I had no idea this was a late 70s favorite when I found them in 2000, go easy on me. Does it feel playful, or kind of brutal? And how many of you knew about this band back in the 70s/80s?

I feel like not talking about money only benefits the corporations and not the workers! Please note this is more than a lot of authors make; my deal was in the “significant” range. This was a bit more than I’d made at my day job so that made quitting a no-brainer!

I was listening to the latest episode of Invest Like the Best and it talked a lot about S-curves.. So I had Fable one shot a website that talked about all the S-curves, their inflection point & commentary on each being a bubble in the last 200 years. Live now on escurves dot com 🌊

Recently I talked about how competitors or just people who don’t like you – can attack your app. The most common case is review attacks. And it’s not always 1★ reviews. Sometimes they’re 5★ reviews too. They pass App Store filters, and when there are too many, Apple may warn you about a violation of guideline 11.2 What to do: - Watch reviews closely: volume + patterns - Report suspicious reviews immediately - Document everything, it can help during appeals The video shows a real attack on one of my apps in 2023

Talking about bicycle scene’s filming 🚲 Junho: “It was comfortable, right?” YoonA: “It was comfortable, but since I also had to hold my skirt, I put strength on my legs and it felt like I was exercising.” Junho: “I know this because I’ve ridden bicycles a lot, but that must be difficult.” YoonA: “(The ride) was stable.” Junho: “I just finished doing cardio.”

When I was younger, I remember making and swapping mixtapes and CDs for friends. The people around me are how I found so much great new music. And while it’s been a minute since I last made a mixtape 😂 I’ve never stopped sharing music with the people I care about. That sharing has just become a lot easier via Messages on Spotify. Starting this week, you'll be able to send songs, playlists, podcasts, and audiobooks directly to friends and family, all within the app. I’m excited about what this unlocks. Because when sharing becomes part of the listening experience, discovery becomes more personal, more immediate, and a whole lot easier. Curious to hear what you all think.
