Well, Javier mendez said once that Khabib has never lost a fight in sparrings but only once and that only time was against Islam. Islam is well-rounded but he would still lose since khabib's fight IQ, wresling adn grappling are better.

Khabib fought style matchups that heavily favored him though, his 3 title defenses were predominantly strikers with clear holes in their grappling. Islam fought well rounded opponents who could do it all at a high level

I completely agree with DC that yes in a head to head match up I still don’t see a lightweight currently that would beat Khabib. But saying he would be champion is completely different, competition always rises. And not to mention even a day that a champion may be off.
