Then why did all those people show up just to "walk around" disrupting the certification of the election? Why did the capitol police just let people in and walk around. Because it was not; it was a semi-disorganized protest incited to riot by violent police force, inflitrated counter protesters and allowed to enter to stop the reading of proof of election fraud at the joint session of congress. The FBI confirmed it was not an insurrection. God bless the J6ers.
