#MichaelMovie We saw the film with the whole family. My husband: 'how is it possible that one family has so much talent?'. My son: 'I expected to see an imitation, but this surpasses everything, Jaafar was Michael'. My son-in-law: 'I never realized that the Pepsi accident was so intense. It scarred him for the rest of his life'. My granddaughter: 'What a difficult childhood Michael had, and how strong he came out of it.' Me: the world dances, sings and loves him. This movie is what we needed to show who Michael Jackson was. And the massive turnout shows what I've always said. Michael has far more lovers than haters in this world. And it is 2026.... Let no one convince you otherwise. Thank you Jaafar, for giving us Michael back. And now: let's dance, let's #CelebrateMichaelJackson

Jaafar Jackson reveals how much work it took to recreate Michael Jackson’s iconic “Bad” performance. Colman Domingo: “Watching your rehearsal footage was unbelievable. You were actually singing while performing, weren’t you?” Jaafar Jackson: “Yeah. Every rehearsal, I sang live and performed it in real time.” “I was rehearsing 4 to 6 hours a day, Monday through Friday… sometimes even on weekends.” “I did that for an entire month, and I was already training on other songs before that.” Jaafar Jackson: “Bad was one of the toughest performances to master right up there with Billie Jean.”

#MICHAEL is a film that was made by the Jackson estate to highlight the good of Michael Jackson and to stand up to the Legacy Media that dragged his name for decades. If the media and haters can say what they want without any consequences or even proof then why can’t his family tell you the real story of Michael Jackson? Despite the hate, the film is close to $250M worldwide. Jaafar Jackson was phenomenal, the musical sequences were so satisfying and I absolutely adored seeing this innocent and kind side to Michael. He did so much good and people were literally obsessed with his glorious music. Once labeled the King of Pop is STILL THE KING. 👑

Yes, Jaafar is Michael’s nephew but if you thought that made it easy for him to take on the role of playing Michael in the film, you might want to take a look at some of his process in this peek behind the scenes! #MichaelMovie

On November 15, 2006, Michael Jackson made his final live television appearance at the World Music Awards 2006. He received the Diamond Award, presented by Beyoncé. Watching it now, it feels less like an appearance and more like an emotional farewell. 🥹

MICHAEL MOVIE 🍿 First off , Michael Jackson should not be dead 🙄 it makes me so mad every time I think about it . In my opinion , I feel like all the lawsuits & people not wanting to be involved , ruined what could’ve been one of the best Michael movies because the ACTORS ate down & all of the music performances gave me chills , but the story was moving so FAST and so much was cut out , that we couldn’t even get into depth of what really happened but overall i STILL enjoyed it and recommend it if you are a fan of Michael . After the nose surgery , Jafaar Jackson looked just like Michael , it was scary how identical it was. All of the performances reenacted were flawless . Colman Domingo ate as Joe Jackson & he had me mad talking about Michael “big nose” but he had the same mf nose . As important as he was to the Jackson 5’s success, he also was responsible for their insecurities and trauma 🙄 Juliano was really good as young Michael too. It was very believable . How yall feel about the movie ? LETS TALK IN THE COMMENTS 🎤 #michaelmovie #isaiahjaay #michaeljackson #jafaarjackson

Michael Jackson made the Moonwalk famous, but he didn’t invent it. Versions of that backward glide were showing up decades before Motown 25. Jack Stanford and Charlie Chaplin were doing similar moves in the 1930s. Bill Bailey was doing it in the 1940s. The Resorts carried it into the 1960s, followed by Electric Boogaloo and Jeffrey Daniel in the 1970s and early 80s. Then Michael Jackson took the move to another level in 1983 and made the Moonwalk one of the most recognizable dance moves in the world. Now in 2026, Jaafar Jackson is doing it while portraying his uncle Michael. Almost a century of dance history in one video. Which one surprised you the most?

Michael Jackson’s Final Performance with His Brothers On September 10, 2001, Michael Jackson reunited with his brothers for the very last time on stage just like the Victory Tour in 1984. The historic moment took place during the Michael Jackson: 30th Anniversary Celebration at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Joined by Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, and Randy, the Jackson brothers delivered an unforgettable medley of their classic hits: “I Want You Back,” “ABC,” “I’ll Be There,” and “Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground).” The performance was electric, filled with nostalgia and the unmistakable chemistry that defined the Jackson 5 era.
