🫍 My son stole my card to buy a phone on his own. Kids nowadays are so scary. But what's scarier is: me, because the money on that card is actually San’s own money that he earned himself. I’m just keeping it for him. So San, just use it however you want. TAY WITH SAMSUNG #GalaxyxTayTawan

In 2018 my health insurance was $180/month. I never went to the doctor. Today it's $430/month. I still never go to the doctor. Because the deductible is $6,000. I pay $5,160 a year just to have a card in my wallet. That I'm afraid to use. This is America.

Maybe this is the sidebar compromise we were looking for. Full control when you need it, a compact card when you don’t. Would you use this pattern in your own tools?

Nice Touch #2: Infini Card I’m continuing my new series highlighting small product decisions that deserve more attention This time, I want to talk about Infini Card One of the strongest parts of the product is its transparency Infini offers several cards for different use cases, but what I especially like is how clearly they explain the differences between them Right on the card selection page, before you even open one, you can see all the important details: - card opening cost - card network - settlement currency - cashback - FX fees - refund fees - other card-specific fees - Apple Pay, Google Pay support - clear pros and cons for each card You don’t need to dig through the documentation or discover the fees after you’ve already started using the card Everything is shown right where you make the choice It sounds like a small detail, but these are exactly the kinds of details that make Infini stand out from other projects Users should know what to expect before they start using a card, instead of playing a game of “find the information in the docs” or dealing with inconsistencies between the app and the documentation Card variety, transparency and great design. Everything is done right

Visa just gave your AI a debit card. A real, spendable Visa card created by an AI chatbot in under 10 seconds. No human types in a card number or visits a checkout page. The machine handles it all. A tool called AgentCard just went live on Claude Desktop Anthropic’s AI assistant. You say create a card and the AI generates a one-time virtual Visa, preloaded with whatever amount you set. Then it spends it, anywhere Visa is accepted on your behalf. Visa, Mastercard, Google, Stripe, OpenAI, and Anthropic have all been building toward this moment for over a year. Visa calls it the trusted agent protocol, Mastercard calls it agent pay. Google published an open standard for agent payments and the infrastructure is already live. Santander and Mastercard just completed Europe’s first real AI‑agent payment in a live banking environment Now the part no one wants to talk about. Your AI agent can be manipulated and prompt injection a known, unsolved vulnerability can trick an agent into buying things you never asked for. The agent holds the card, makes the call and the agent can be fooled. Who is liable when an AI makes a bad purchase? You? Anthropic? Visa? The merchant? No one has answered this yet, regulators haven’t caught up, and no court has tested it.

Americans handed over about 253 billion dollars in credit card interest and fees in a single year, and for millions the debt never actually shrinks. Total household debt in the United States just hit a record of about 18.8 trillion dollars. Credit cards are only a slice of that, but they are the cruelest slice, because the interest rate almost never drops below 20 percent. Here is what that does. If you carry a balance of 5,000 dollars and pay only the minimum, it can take more than 15 years to clear, and cost you more than 6,000 dollars in interest alone. You end up paying for the same purchase twice. The amount Americans pay each year just in card interest is now more than triple what it was in 2021. This is not an accident of the market. High rates and low minimum payments are built to keep you paying, slowly, for as long as possible.

Wow thank you Elon Musk & X XMoney ! I recently moved to Bali, Indonesia and my bank cards didn’t work with the ATMs out here. I added funds to my X money account to see if my X Card will work. Long and behold I was able to get rupiah for the first time ever! This is a game changer. The cash back incentives for using my card is amazing as well! I believe I’m the first Indonesia transaction using #Xmoney

Entered the era of Premier Banking 🥰💸 👉 Opened a joint account with spouse at HSBC Premier — so got 2 debit cards 😊 💳 The much-awaited HSBC Premier Credit Card is coming soon… 🚀 👉 Will share my full journey on how I got there + meeting eligibility criteria. Stay tuned 👀 ✅ With every bank chasing high-value customers these days, there’s clearly no dearth of good options 👉 Anyone maintaining a 6-digit average balance in a savings account deserves better service Also, I’m not someone who worships any credit card like a god or calls it a “king card” 🙅‍♂️ 👉 As long as a card suits me, I’ll use it 👉 Else, I’ll move to the next one Loyalty is meant for family, friends & country — not for a credit card. I still hope rationality prevails and HDFC Bank brings reasonable criteria for the great Infinia 🤞 I have a 17-year banking relationship with HDFC Bank and will continue — as long as it remains mutually rewarding and Infinia is continued. Else, I will move my entire banking relationship to HSBC as my primary account 💼 Customer loyalty should be valued — not taken for granted. Hope customer feedback is taken positively.
