WTF is wrong with Clerks!?

Jay and silent Bob were awesome. But the acting of the others was impossibly bad.

It doesn't hold up and is embarassingly bad now, but it was awesome at the time. And it led to at least a few good things from Kevin Smith later on.

Clerks was great. Before Kevin Smith entered his villain arc.

Clerks is one of the best 90s movies. The bad acting was part and parcel of its appeal. The dialogues are fucking hilarious. Even when dubbed in French.
