So here is the video of Baltimore Orioles Jackson Holliday's at bat in the sixth inning that was ruled an throwing error on 3B Logan Davidson. Now, not sure why folks are threatening me to change this (I don't change these things, I just report on them), but while Holliday is hustling down the line, the scorer sees this as ordinary effort for the third baseman, and if he doesn't bounce the throw Soderstrom keeps his foot on the bag and Holliday is out. I see this as an appeal for Holliday, but I'd be a little surprised if it changes because Davidson clearly sets himself, he isn't throwing on the run or anything. #Birdland #Athletics

As of a week ago, Jaylen Clark hadn't played real minutes in a game since tearing his achilles in college two years ago. He's now averaging 17 minutes a night over the Wolves last 5 games, and tonight played in crunchtime -- scored a career-high 17 points, hitting 4 of his 6 3-point attempts. This at-bat from Pedro Ramirez in the 9th inning last night was legit. Stayed patient, saw four straight pitches, was right on time for the fifth, and tied the ballgame. That’s not something you really see from a guy with less than 40 big league plate appearances. Hitting his way into more opportunities.
