The hadiths themselves state that the Golden Age of Islam will be when their Imam (as) is among them, and that even if they have to crawl over ice, they must join him. That alone makes it clear that the focus of Islamic eschatology is not on remaining in or ruling the West. Any Muslim who wants to stay in the West is free to do so, but many Muslims themselves believe the West is not their final destination. Their religious traditions point toward gathering with their Imam, not permanently establishing themselves in Western countries. So the narrative that Muslims are secretly planning to "take over" the UK or the West ignores what many Muslims themselves believe about their own end times traditions.
