Someone on Tiktok was shocked that @Jacob_Rees_Mogg would admit to the con. Here's my reply.

@AndrewG999 It was a con, of course, but wasn't the real #Brexit culprit David Cameron? He set up the 2016 referendum based where a majority of one could win, with no understanding of what happened if Brexiters won and then walked away. He opened the trap door.

@AndrewG999 Absolutley. If Dave opens the tiger cage inside the nursery, sure the tiger is immediately at fault but Dave has some questions to answer.

I hate what the leave campaigners have done to the UK but I'd honestly have more respect for them if they actually had principles. The fact that there are so many videos of them all saying one thing then the complete opposite a few years later just shows they don't care about us!

I think that what has happened here is that Rees-Mogg doesn't understand what a podcast is... "What, that *wasn't* a private conversation? You mean to tell me that the great unwashed have been able to listen to my every word...?!"
