Jacob Rees-Mogg: We must remember that there is no such thing as the Government’s money. Only the taxpayer’s money. And if we borrow money, it will have to be paid back by our children and our children’s children. It's time we give people more of what is theirs.

Did you forget that when you wrote billions off in PPE fraud , handed out billions to your cronies in dodgy PPE contracts, wasted billions on a failed track and trace system and gave tax cuts to the rich while the rest of us faced the highest tax burden in 80 years 🤔

Tax Dodger pontificating about taxpayers money

Still banging on about the tax and spend myth, Jake? No wonder we’re up the creek…

Please explain the why under the Tories national debt has risen from £850billion in 2010 to £2.6trillion in 2023. If we borrow money our children and our childrens children will have to pay it back Is that only relevant as Tories fall from power?

We do remember. It's you that has the problem. Have you paid all your taxes? I have
God idea to give us back what is ours. Freedom of movement throughout Europe? Free unimpaired trade with Europe? The £45bn you spaffed on dodgy PPE deals?

When Labour left power in 2010, public sector borrowing was 65% of GDP, and by 2019, before Covid, the Tories had got it up to 80%, which represented an increase in debt of over £643 billion. When it comes to the economy, all the Tories do is lie.

I really don't understand why everybody doesn't just keep their fortune offshore like you do.

False. This is a lie. We have a sovereign fiat currency issued by the government

Well, if it's the taxpayer's money, perhaps you could have a word with #MichelleMone and all the others who benefited from the pandemic, and get it back?
