It is encouraging that political leaders are now calling this out for what it is and saying plainly that Jacob Zuma is inciting violence. But it must also be said that Zuma is not merely inciting hostility against undocumented immigrants. He is inciting hostility against Africans who are living in South Africa legally, who are properly documented, and who are conducting their lives within the law.
