Listen I know people are going to be pissed about Sami potentially losing the WWE title but I feel like it’s going to make him one of the most compelling heels on SmackDown since KO in 2024-2025 The fact he won the title the right way without having to change, finally accomplishing his dream of being WWE champion just for him to have it all taken away from him by Cody is the perfect set up for a full heel turn with him costing Cody at SummerSlam. It could be one of the best non title feuds WWE has had since Drew/Punk imo. As for Cody I would love to see his character go through a lot of adversity racking up losses against Sami, Randy and even Gunther. The canonization of his addiction to the WWE title is exactly why him losing will be so pivotal to his character.
