A lot of people in this fandom seem to have a warped idea of Jade where they think she doesn’t have feelings and only solely cares about the game, like they cannot fathom the idea that Jade might actually want to bond with others and have friends she just struggles to do so

The fandom moved on from her back story real quick, genuinely Jade is the best strategist type character this show has had because of these vulnerabilities. Like she feels so human (credit to Lexi's line deliveries 💚)

YEEEES!! People may have forgotten about Jades backstory but I never did, I try and take it into account everytime I try and analyze Jades actions and relationships this season

I think about her saying how she was never anyone's first choice a lot, like do people really expect someone who experienced this at a young age to be a trusting bubbly person ? This is why she is more reserved and has difficultly opening up to people. Thankfully people who can relate to her like Isabel and Benji can chip these walls a bit
