Honestly, I never expected Jake to get an intro or solo part during their performances because I’d been disappointed so many times before 😅 But in the past few award shows, he’s finally been given those opportunities ++ He used to be placed on the side or at the back, and now he’s even the center during dance breaks. It really makes me emotional. Jungwon once said that Jake was praised for how much his dancing has improved, and I can truly feel that. Thank you to everyone who gave Jake the chance to show his abilities 🥹🤍 and hope all of members can get the same chance. an instagram post from ryu jaejun who trained sunghoon before. this is such an endearing message. “i went to an enhypen concert at sunghoon’s invitation. sunghoon, whom i coached for five years during his figure skating days, was very shy and introverted back then, but when it came to sports, he was a quiet kid who worked incredibly hard. when i asked him if it wasn't difficult to balance figure skating and being an idol trainee, the teenage boy would always say he enjoyed it so much that he didn't even feel the hardship. now, he has grown into a wonderful idol and singer who travels the world holding concerts. seeing him captivate the audience and communicate with fans without a trace of his introverted personality made me think about how much effort he must have put in all this time. it definitely couldn't have been easy for someone with sunghoon’s personality, but rather than seeming difficult, it just looked admirable and impressive. The same Jungwon who tuned in for Ni-ki’s AOTM, hyped up the members’ covers, secretly called Sunghoon while he was in Milan, and even went live before Sunoo’s birthday because he wanted to make sure everyone would treat him well? The same Jungwon who never misses an opportunity to praise the members, celebrate their achievements, and quietly look after them behind the scenes? To say he isn’t supportive is honestly one of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever read. The reason hs left is hs himself. Stop shifting all your anger and disappointment over hs decision to leave onto Jungwon. Jungwon is protecting the members. He’s protecting enhypen. And protecting his fans.
