The Knicks defeated them on their home court to end the series 4-1 The Spurs defeated us 4-1 in that series 27 years ago at with Rick Brunson as a Knick at MSG. Commentators would relentlessly tell everyone that Jalen was “TOO SMALL” to win against the top tiers. Yet here he stands as MVP with the rest of one of the greatest relentless Knick teams ever assembled against their star player being the opposite of TOO SMALL… they now CHAMPIONS. Jalen shows you how important humility… work ethic & family who believe in you are for an individual. Brunson is everything you want to see in an athlete as an example for youth and the reason he is so successful is not just talent but COMPOSURE. He is one of the most stress resilient emotionally controlled athletes I have ever seen as a life long New York sports fan. storytime with kai #2 ⭐️ 🐧 i feel like i’ve told you this before but i have a scar near my chest here 🐧 the reason i got the scar was because…i got hurt really bad when i was a kid and that left a scar 🐧 …just kidding! i do have a scar but i didn’t get it when i was a kid, i got it during ‘run away’ 🐧 it’s actually not a scar, it’s a stretch mark 🐧 as you guys know, in comparison to our debut days, my body suddenly grew starting ‘run away’ 🐧 and because of that, one day when i woke up, i saw that i suddenly got a stretch mark and it actually looked cool so i like this stretch mark 🐧 people usually get stretch marks in strange places but because it was here…i actually didn’t know it was a stretch mark at first, i suddenly got a red scar and it looked as if somebody had scratched me so i was like “did somebody scratch me..?” and it was quite deep so i wondered what it could be and how i found out that it was a stretch mark because my body had grown was…there’s a person in our protocol team who said that he got similar stretch marks 🐧 he said that he used to have a small frame but when he started working out and his body grew bigger, he got stretch marks and i found out what it was through that protocol team member…i found out 2 years after i got it so i was like “that makes sense, i used to have a small frame during our debut and my body suddenly grew during ‘run away’ so that’s why i got the stretch mark, huh?”

“Everybody says talk basketball until it’s time to talk basketball” CJ McCollum didn’t wake up and realize he was 35. The Knicks started trapping the small-small ball screens and didn’t allow him to hunt Brunson in switches. Against the Sixers, the closest player to Dyson Daniels is Kelly Oubre. Think about it like this: Dyson Daniels makes Kelly Oubre look like Caron Butler, Andrew Wiggins, etc… that’s how bad Daniels is on offense. I don’t think Oubre is someone you’re afraid to leave to trap and double… but the Knicks did have Brunson on VJ and they had to live with that. I show the clips of VJ vs Brunson at MSG. It’s not gonna be as simple to scheme Brunson out of guarding his yard. Mike Brown is going to have his hands full with guarding the Sixers stars…

Mark Cuban on the door-to-door garbage bag business that taught him how to sell at age 12: It started because his dad wouldn't buy him a pair of shoes. Cuban was 12, and he wanted new Converse. His dad was in the middle of a poker game. "Dad, I need a new pair of Converse, right?" Cuban recalls asking. His father wasn't moved: "I see those, you know, those shoes on your feet. They still work, right?" Cuban admitted they did. So his dad laid down the rule that would end up shaping his career: "Well, when you have a job, you can buy whatever you want, but until then, those shoes still work." Cuban pushed back with the obvious problem: "Dad, I can't get a job. I'm 12 years old." Then one of his dad's poker buddies spoke up. "Yeah, I got a job for you," the man said. "I've got these boxes of garbage bags and you can go sell them around the neighborhood." So that's what Cuban did. He knocked on doors with a simple pitch: "Hi, I'm your neighbor, Mark. Do you use garbage bags?" The economics were straightforward. The boxes cost him three dollars for a hundred. He sold them for six. Then he'd come back every couple of weeks to restock his neighbors whenever they needed more. He was clearing about 20 bucks a week, which felt like big time, and he got his shoes. The money was never the real lesson. What stuck with him was what selling actually is: "That taught me to be confident and that taught me that I could sell. And that taught me that selling was helping, not convincing." That distinction became the foundation of how Mark Cuban thinks about business. The fact that I was present in the room when Lockheed Martin engineer and inventor Brad Sorenson was contacted and asked about the Alien Reproduction Vehicle (ARV Fluxliner) that he described to military illustrator, Mark McCandlish. Mark revealed the Fluxliner to the world during the 2001 National Press Conference, organised by Dr. Steven Greer, before later (reportedly) taking his own life. Brad Sorenson has never gone public about what he told Mark. We only have the ARV Fluxliner story because of Mark, and we only know of Brad Sorenson because of Mark. But when Brad was contacted, and I was present for the phone call, he essentially admitted to everything, acknowledging the legitimacy of Mark McCandlish's detailed illustration of this flying saucer style vehicle. Brad said three of these vehicles were present inside the Lockheed hangar, nicknamed Baby Bear (smallest) Mamma Bear (Mid-Size) Papa Bear (Largest). They were designated as 'Instantaneous Nuclear Delivery Platforms' by the Lockheed team. Brad was extremely angry on the phone in regards to Mark going public, clearly Brad never intended for Mark to take the information he gave him and go public with it, he said "I gave Mark the keys to the kingdom, and he went off and told the whole f***ing world about it" Brad Sorenson claimed on this phone call that he is capable of designing and building an aircraft that can go 210x the speed of light, he said that "we have turned over every stone in the Solar System and what we have realised is that we have to make the earth work" This is the first time direct statements have been made from Brad in relation to the ARV Fluxliner and Mark McCandlish, my takeaway was that Brad believed at the time that Mark would treat this information as a trade secret, Mark chose to tell the world and Brad, to this very day, has never forgiven Mark for doing that.
