Did you know that $2 billion of taxpayer money was spent on the tuition of foreign students in Harvard? Why are we funding the education for the youth of adversarial countries who send people here to undermine our values and our culture and our way of life? Why must we continue to fund universities that are anti-American? Universities that teach a whole new class of young people how to be baby bolsheviks in training ? Why are we continuing to allow for adversaries like Iran and China to come here and de-stabilize our country and radicalize our youth. It’s not like we don’t have enough problems with the Mark wing of America. They do a good enough job of destroying the next generation, they don’t need help from foreigners. Those are the questions every Americans should be asking themselves because anybody who takes an honest look at what is happening at Harvard can tell you that the only thing that is being taught is how to hate America and try to destroy it from within.

A recent poll showed that 80% of Oregonians support requiring local school districts to provide at least the national average of school days. Your kids deserve a world-class education, and on Day One I will work to increase classroom time and give teachers the resources they need so that all Oregon students and teachers can be successful.

I mean, here’s Trump negotiating against himself. Now, the impact of all this is outsized in my state. I’ve got the Port of Long Beach—40% of the goods that move through this country come through L.A. and Long Beach—and it’s starting to dry up. That’s not a gross exaggeration; if anything, it’s a modest one. But there’s a significant decline in cargo coming into the U.S. This is the number one manufacturing state in America. It’s the number one state in terms of direct foreign investment and two-way trade. We dominate in every economic category. There are no peers… This state is disproportionately impacted. And so I just pray that we can get a deal with China because of its outsized influence. I’ll just make one simple point: as a guy with four young kids, 80% of the toys that are supposed to be coming in the ports right now for the holidays—they come from China.

This mother received a text from her son that their was an active shooter at his school. She called her husband who had their young daughter with him and had just left and he came back home. He went inside and grabbed his weapon and headed to the school. Dad was on his way to save everyone's babies not just his own. This is why my kids will always have their phones in school. They need to be able report an emergency and be able to get a hold of mom and dad at a moment's notice. Can't imagine getting that text from one of my kids. Sad that families have to deal with this madness. We know cell phones can be a distraction and be bad but do you think kids should be allowed to have their cell phones at all times, if not for this very reason right here?
