Native American tribes; the interned Japanese; Holocaust survivors and their descendants; descendants of 9/11 victims; Iranian hostages; Guamanians; the Downwinders and their descendants; victims of sexual abuse that the FBI failed to address; veterans exposed to burn pits; all of these groups get reparations, have received reparations, or will get them. In some cases, their DESCENDANTS receive reparations. We are told, "Never forget," when when it comes to tragedies done, and the debt owed to other groups. Al Sharpton and other activists are telling Black Americans and Black-owned businesses to boycott America’s 250th birthday. My response: You do not speak for me. You do not get to use my skin color to tell me what I can celebrate. I was not a slave. You were not a slave. We are free Americans, and I refuse to walk around pretending we are still in chains. Yes, I proudly put George Washington on my America 250 Cousin T’s pancake box. He owned slaves, but that is not his entire legacy. When the conversation of reparations comes up, people always focus on what it is going to cost. We need to focus on what we are going to gain. This nation can absolutely afford to do reparations. It can not afford NOT to do reparations. I make some of these points during a live TV interview on a news station in Charleston. It was probably not the most politically astute thing to do to speak about reparations during what just a four minute interview where I could not discuss all the nuances of the matter. It will probably not win me much support. However, it was the right thing to do.

International VP of the United Steelworkers Roxanne Brown: I don’t know if I can curse on this podcast, but I’m a steelworker. One of the things I always say is, you can’t bullshit a steelworker. You can’t bullshit a union member, right? Union workers know the real and understand who is for them. When bullshit is in front of them, they’re able to identify what it is and see through that. That’s what I would really implore my brothers, sisters, and siblings across the labor movement: don’t be snowed by the bullshit. Pay attention, do your research on what Trump has done for workers versus what the Biden-Harris Administration has done for workers, and you will find there’s a huge gap. The Biden-Harris Administration has gone leaps and bounds—not just now but into the future—to secure a foundation for American working families and workers to propel into economic prosperity. What Trump has done is not that. He has told us from his own mouth that he doesn’t want us to be organized. He doesn’t support the right of workers to join unions. He does not support the right of workers to earn overtime or that extra bit of income to have more money in your paychecks to do the things you need to do for your family to survive. He has told you he does not support your retirement. He never supported the Butch Lewis Act. Over a million workers would still be facing a crisis and not being able to access their earned retirement if we still had a Trump administration. There are record numbers of people accessing health care because the Biden-Harris Administration has spent the time to get folks enrolled in the ACA to be able to access health care. These are gains, brothers, sisters, and siblings, that would not have happened under a Trump administration. These are gains that matter to your pocketbooks, gains that matter to your kitchen table because you need food on that table to survive. These are gains that matter to your kids’ future because they need jobs. Not everybody’s going to college. They need good union jobs to help them survive and earn a respectable living into the future. That does not come with that man who does not believe in us. We believe in us as working people. So pay attention, don’t be snowed by the bullshit. We know better.

In this debate clip, I address a few of Duke Buckner's assertions. Duke Buckner says I am obsessed with race. The truth: Reparations are based on lineage and status. It only goes to those who are Freedmen. Duke Buckner says we do not know who is a Freedmen and who is not. The truth: Yes, we do, 45 to 46 million of the 50 to 51 million (an undercount) black people in America are Freedmen. Duke Buckner himself IS A FREEDMEN, and he knows it. People think reparations will come from their tax dollars and cause massive inflation. The truth: Reparations come from the federal government. The American government is a monetary sovereign and can generate as much money as they need to meet any monetary requirement they have ONCE they account for inflation. They monetize debt by creating bonds, and if not that, they CANCEL debt altogether. They are doing it now with the PPP Loans and have done it many times with war debt and corporate debt. My point? We have A LOT of educational work to do.

Andy Beshear of Kentucky is a possible 2028 presidential candidate since he is a Democratic governor of a ruby red state. Black Alpha Network asked him a question about what specific policies can be done for Black Americans (Freedmen). He asked him if he supported reparations. Listen to how Beshear completely avoids the question and then gets flustered and leaves when he is not allowed to dodge the topic. The Democrats are willing to protest on behalf of and offer specific policies for LGBTQ, illegal immigrants, Asian Americans, Jews, corporations, and other groups, but when it comes to Black Americans (Freedmen), unfortunately, their most loyal constituency, we get nothing. Beshear could have talked about how we could get policies based on our status as Freedmen, since you cannot do policies based on race, and those of us who have the lineage that makes us FBA/Freeedmen would be entitled to reparations, services from the Freedmen's Bureau, and more.

A number of people like Nsereko Muhammad are calling on Museveni, the very man who unlawfully abducted Dr. Besigye from Kenya on 16 November 2024 and has kept him imprisoned for over a year in violation of his constitutional rights to "forgive" him.
