James Orengo: The orange is not split; people are trying to sell the orange for a price, for a few coins, and we are not going to allow that. President Ruto is the willing buyer; it is not a secret that is how ODM can hold its meetings in State House and President Ruto presides. Not just in State House, in his private residence in Kilgoris, and he is the one funding the party. He is funding even this meeting they had in Mombasa, the air tickets, the allowances, and the hotels were paid by President Ruto. The irony is that people in Linda Ground are saying they are in the broad-based government, and now they are making demands to the government that you must pay us. How can you demand payment from a government in which you are a participant? #JKLive

Just because we are in broad-based, there are people who are feeling bad about it; they don’t want us in government. They think that we were born, and it is in the constitution that ODM and its people must be in opposition forever and ever until Jesus comes back. Junet Mohammed: After the election, when ODM went to the demonstrations, and the country was going to the dogs, the President of the Republic of Tanzania, on her own initiative, decided to come and do arbitration between President Ruto and my former Prime Minister, my former Party leader. I travelled with the former PM to Nanyuki and met President Suluhu, and the following day, we were supposed to meet President Ruto there. When we were waiting for President Ruto, he called President Suluhu, and he said that, "My DP, Rigathi Gachagua, has told me, 'You can not go to that meeting, if you go I will resign as the Deputy President.' When it arose, he came from Dubai, he called me, and we had a meeting before he invited me to attend a meeting of the central committee of the party, and he said he had a difficult situation he found himself in. I understood the point he was trying to make, which was that some of our people had been approached by President Ruto, and these guys had agreed to be recruited into his government. Raila had urged Ruto not to announce those appointments until he got here. He said if they went into government without the goodwill of the party, it would bring problems and division within the party #JKLive

Gladys Wanga, Chairperson ODM: There is only one NDC called in accordance to section 49 of our constitution, a special delegates conference, a 21-day notice given, delegates invited. It will be at Jamhuri Park; anything else would be maybe a kamukunji, a baraza, a political rally, a birthday party, but there is only one NDC of the ODM party that will be taking place this Friday. The NDC is not something I wake up and say this is an NDC, it is called in line with the constitution of the party. Anybody else trying to spread confusion, it is only that, confusion #JKLive
